Slay It Out is gorgeous

 

The only dud is MIDnight Bomb

 

 

 

this was nothing short of excellent, I love The Sofa

Can't wait to listen to it. I'm feeling it's going to be one of my faves this year

Thorns, Leaning Against The Wall, and White Horses are my holy trinity on this one

I know they were aiming for a more 'mature' sound and I love that they completely dove into it, this is such a cohesive album and feels like the complete antithesis to BW (chilled and confident vs sad and insecure)

 

Bloom, Bread Butter, White Horses and The Sofa are instant hits

 

Play It Out, Midnight Song, and Safe in the World… not so much :/

finally getting around to this and i love it from start to finish, easily my favourite guitar album of the year so far

The Sofa is a 10/10 and most people wish they had a song as good as that in their entire careers

Their pen is insane  Play It Out is so beautiful, I feel sorry for those who can't see that.

I really like it after the first listen. Not as much as the previous album, but I'll definitely go back to it after a while.

This album would've been 11/10 if instead of Safe in the World there was another song in the vein of Bloom Baby Bloom, anyways, an excellent record, they did it again

not when Safe In The World is a masterpiece

 

Excited to listen to this! 

Having my 1st listen right now and Just Two Girls is immediately one of my favorite songs this year The delivery, the lyrics, the instrumentation, the melodic force, oh they're taking it!

Thorns is probably going to end up as my favorite song. Ellie's vocals are so good. 

 

I just love her voice on this album in particular.
