do we have a somewhat accurate sales estimate in the US? Seeing Bey get some of her certifications semi updated made me jealous since BMR will most likely never update albums 1-6. I saw people on twitter claiming SIO has sold 16 million units in the US but I dont believe it. If anything, Blank Space should have definitely closed the gap considerably seeing how it outstreams SIO by a large margin

Are y'all crazy? Max had to admit it because if he'd contributed to the lyrics the case would've been way messier, as he'd have to prove he didn't steal any lyrics either. It literally works in Taylor's favor.

Max said Katy wrote Roar topline, there hasn’t been an issue ever with him about credits.

 

The melodies and arrangements he contributes warrant a songwriting credit.

A lot of those are inflated. Whenever Taylor releases again, Billboard might make an article with her top songs but even then, they count streams differently from the RIAA.

 

It's not like any of her newer releases are getting certified either. I don't think there's a single song or album she released since Lover that's up to date

Taylor is definitely guilty of handing out credits and Max is guilty of always demanding a songwriting credit and never giving her a production one . She also always undersells her self while overpraising her collaborators, like for example, her story about how We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was written basically omits a crucial fact just so she could include Max & Shelback in the writing process. She made it sound like the song was written on the spot when Max revealed in an interview that she went home, wrote the chorus, then showed it to him the next day. They obviously played a huge part in making that song as annoyingly catchy as can be (Shelback was the one who came up with the idea for the "weeee" part sounding like kids on a playground), but the bones of that song were Taylor's, as is the case with all of their songs together.

I saw the original tweet that this account is referencing, I don’t think who posted on Twitter lied but maybe the original “source” did it.

My biggest issue is pulsemusic doesn't delete rumours and leaks and the total lack of a screenshot which I feel like the first person to see it would take for twitter likes. 

 

I am a believer of the 26th though just because she only cares about Week 1 and it aligns with the VMAs and there's been 4 different reports of her filming something.
