Taylor can release a lead single, soft-rock & pop ballad that becomes an anthem, and follow that with a soft-rock / psychedelic album that has equal upbeats & midtempos. It would contain influences from psychedelic pop, funk, classic rock, country, indie pop, and baroque pop.

Unpopular opinion: Taylor needs to get singing and guitar lessons. Her ATW performance at SNL was poor and I was disappointed in her vocals going flat after seemingly improving for years.

 

Strumming/picking chords also isn’t good enough any more, especially if she’s veering into music where the instrumental is more important. She needs to learn how to solo.

I think she was just nervous. It's a 10 minutes song after all... her Grammy performance last year as well, was great. but yeah, the SNL one was weird, don't know why they didn't edited the audio before uploading on youtube
