I wouldn't really mind another sister of folkmore for TS10. I would gladly take it and enjoy it, but yeah some people are definitely over the sound and she's smarter than doing it again for the 3rd time.

Honestly, I think that’s why some people wanted “woodvale” or “seashore” to happen so bad. She’s just so good at the  sound that she chose for those records, and while I think I agree that she has her eye more on continual evolution and trying new things, seeing her settle into that sound wouldn’t have been a shock. I think the fact that the Folklore era changed her image and launched her back to the top of the industry since its release was partially a product of how natural its sound was to her.

TS10 aesthetic: 1970s satanic panic/ The Love Witch/ cultcore/ Maxine Sanders/ Stevie Nicks & Kate Bush witchy vibes. This is more in line with Taylor's personal style .

She needs to go bold with TS10. No more lowfi cottage core. I agree it needs to be either retro rock or another pop album but more disco/dance inspired.

With poptimism being back in, I would love pop. I want her to work with AG cook tbh. Also, her streaming numbers show she shoulddo pop- just no MEs.

AG Cook would be great. Also maybe Lois Bell and Frank Dukes again. I would like to see her work with people other than Jack tbh. They’ve made great songs together obvi but I wanna see her experiment more

Hopefully she has a good rollout planned. 

Some universal pop/rock bangers as singles a la Queen/Coldplay/Imagine Dragons would probably be the best decision for her career right now.

 

Personally I’d love dream pop, maybe working with Beach House.

I would like Andrew Watt too. And it would be cool if Max returned for a few songs. Lois and Frank I’m unsure of because out of the 3 they did on lover, only 1 is great. Have they had any hits this year?

I do think TS10 is coming. I started thinking that after she didn't announce anything in Q1 and when the tour rumors started. I hope she will release the lead next month.

 

With that in mind, we can predict a few things:

- the album will be great for a stadium tour, the production will be big and bold like Reputation

- the album will suit the post-pandemic mood

- seems Jack is back again (remember the photos of her with her keyboard) and she might've asked Dessner for the 'soft songs' of the album. I also hope she will work with a new producer.

Reputa's production was made for a stadium. I think she will go for a big and bold production once again, but I hope it's rock and not too loud (we need the lead single to be radio friendly).

I honestly struggle to understand what value there would be in her going back to pop - even from a commercial success perspective.

She still has room to grow in some countries and a great radio single would help with that. It doesn't have to be pop.
