Yeah she’s definitely slowly coming out of hiding so something’s up  starting to believe the TS10 4th quarter and tour 2023 hype.

I really hope that whatever TS10 sounds like, she still prioritises acclaim over radio hits (ie more folklore less lover in terms of writing). I’d love her to smash on radio too though.

 

I really want her to do something that is completely inarguably brilliant- something even her haters can’t say isn’t brilliant. I hope if it’s rock, it isn’t the type of corny sound Olivia and her Gen Z contemporaries are doing. Something completely different. Classic rock of some kind maybe?

If she actually is coming this year, I wouldn’t mind a short album, 10-13 tracks ala Melodrama and Sour. A condensed, acclaimed record full of quality (bops) that the GP would have the energy to easily digest. Do we really need another 19 tracks, with the amount of content she released recently and with more re-recordings also on the horizon? It would also make sense for the sake of a potential tour setlist - she has so much new music already that she’s yet to perform.

At this point, I would totally not be surprised by a single in August and an album in October.

 

Also, if she’s going rock… I feel like she’s not likely to tour for Lover, Folklore, or Evermore at all. Lover is too old at this point, while the other two make sense as records not to tour given their sound and circumstances, as much as I would have loved for her to tour for them. A rock album would be much more suited for a blockbuster stadium tour, and the set list could incorporate some Red tracks like State of Grace, some Speak Now tracks in time for the next rerecording, and some rock reworks of her biggest hits.

 

It kind of makes a little too much sense, honestly.

 

I also feel like a short all-stadium tour like Gaga’s current tour, but maybe less spread out, would make a lot of sense if there are still concerns with being too far from Andrea due to her health.
