kinda agree, the amazing thing about folklore is its so detail, two years listening casually and i still discover new things about some lyrics/ production detail.

Cant believe she made the album in less than 3 months, what kind of talent is that?

i’m also afraid she won’t be able to top it, but she has proven me wrong a couple of times before

Acoustic was fun for a cute little performance like Lover in Paris. But an album would be a snoozefest. So glad that she finds Aaron to do the instruments for folkmore, that helps those album artistically so much rather than acoustic sister albums route which i know will still sound good but at the same time will feel like a million acoustic cover album out there.

I can compromise: it doesn’t have to be a studio album, it can just be an acoustic collection of some of her best pop songs so that I never again have to suffer through a synth when I’m not in the mood! She can even make it a series of singles like Live In Paris was so that it doesn’t mess with her BB200 streaks. 
 

But if she DID do a whole studio album mostly in that style, I’d die immediately. I’d buy like ten copies, one for everyone I could force it on IRL.

Me but talking about Red 10 years later and to the point that I secretly still listen to Scooter’s Version sometimes because the exact pitch and tone of certain vocal and instrumental notes is embedded into my literal soul and I will never get over it because it is the greatest album in the history of recorded music and I would throw myself into the sun in exchange for a hypothetical Red Vol. 2 (but also about Evermore which is definitely Red’s newer sister)
