I discovered her from viral TikTok song and I've been wondering what people here think of her music?

she's incredibly talented for sure. it's very very impressive that her music got attention from the GP for such a long time even though it's not that mainstream-ish

one of my fav song from her

i keep meaning to check her out. i only know one song i think :chick2:

I only know Headlock. But it's so good

i only know the shrek song, ariana song and whatcha say, still need to check the rest of her music out. very cute lil songs :bird:

Love her music but her not being able to sit down and record a full album for over a decade now made me lose pretty much any and all interest in her.

don't listen to her and don't have any interest in doing so but i respect her artistry with those e-gloves or whatever

I like Speak for Yourself but im not familiar with her other work and frankly not interested enought to check them out

What's that even?

Though it was an app but you made it sound like it's a person.

She's cute

My sister is a fan, I always felt Imogen was merely intended to be a U.K. experimental/ indie inflected artist, playing to her home crowd (or, at a stretch, Europe), without any desire for the U.S. to ever know she even exists.

But presumably, through the internet, Ariana somehow stumbled upon her some years ago and Imogen's music resonated with her.

Due to Ariana's praise in interviews, it has led Imogen to at least be heard of in markets she never meant to originally even explore. What's happened was not intended and that means her elevated international profile is kind of magical in a way.

I first knew of her from Clean of course, but Hide and Seek (the song that Whatcha Say sampled) is a classic :clap3:

I love both Speak For Yourself and Ellipse, wish she had a bigger catalog.

2-1 and Have You Got It In You? are up there, great songs :clap3:

Can't believe most of you have been living a life where this masterpiece was not included.

As a big Caroline Polachek fan, I really want to check her stuff out. I love this song she did under her Frou Frou band:
