I see it as a plus for garnering some critical acclaim (something she's always struggled with for some reason) and bc Y2K is also a co-producer. I don't think it matters since his output typically depends on the type of artist he's working with and Doja isn't exactly going to him for some Taylor/Lana snoozes by the sounds of it.

I'm just clocking the irony of an Addison stan insinuating Doja is a flop when Addison will never reach the commercial heights of Planet Her alone in a million years. well umm... its sound is very on brand for her, but I'm afraid a bit too on brand

I'm still looking forward to it, but I wish she did more songs like she did on Purrr! and like Agora Hills instead
