I hope the release of this song is an indicator that Doja will be performing at the VMAs. 

She's smart for rolling out the era right before the fall. 80s inspired pop seems to always be a hit for Halloween parties. She and Cardi will both capitalize on their music being a staple at college parties for the fall semester. And her pop always sounds more authentic than her rap, so I think this will do better than Scarlet.

Agora Hills literally samples an 80s song lol. If that's what you want from her wouldn't you be excited over the song where she goes full 80s pop diva..? I don't think you guys even know what you want from her

Going back to this sound after the genius that is Scarlet is… a choice, but she's a creative genius and a visionary so I'm hoping she sees a lot of success, though it seems I'll be sitting this one out. Hopefully the album covers more sonic ground.

does it sampling an 80s song contradict what I said? You won't convince me that Jealous Type sounds like Agora Hills... I explicitly said what I wish she did music-wise so don't put me in this 'guys who don't even know what they want from her' bag.

at this point idk if it's actually coming tonight.. her songs are usually released at midnight local but it's not out in NZ  i think this would be her first single dropping at midnight ET. So maybe it's dropping next friday

i get dat we have had alot of 80's sounding music these last five years but she is servin 80's R&B very reminiscent of Janet, Pebbles, Karyn, Jody, early Paula
