It's getting a strong push in America but it's still a Korean single. I wonder if we'll get two versions of the music video (English and Korean). If we do, I hope they're noticeably different.

Announcement next Sunday and comeback on 6/30. SM doesn't usually give a big heads up on a digital single release. I think they're just letting the girls do promo and giving them time to grow before the debut mini.

Yeah, there's definitely an outro to the chorus, similar to Drama's first chorus. I'm hoping that the chorus starts a little more bombastic, too, and then shrinks to what we've heard so far. But I'm not holding out hope.

Drama is their best song and probably one of the top 5 teasers of all-time (up there with Run Devil Run, Savage and The Boys).

 

The chorus to Dirty Work is growing on me. I don't think it's horrible - it's just not what I want. The original demo gives me hope:

SM's promotion style has changed dramatically this year. There's a clear shift and they also have new labels handling overseas promotions. It's so exciting to see

Some of you forget that GD was a part of the same bogus fascistic "drug probe" that roped in Lee Sun-kyun before his tragic loss. He was completely retired from being a singer/rapper at that time and only found his way back through coping with the trauma of that experience. Half his album's run time is very directly responding to that incident. This fake push to make him the most problematic man alive is literally based in HYBE paying to signal boost maga'd conspiracies. He "groomed" a woman he never dated and who was only his love interest in a MV as a bit of cross promotion, the same way trainees are FREQUENTLY dancers or MV extras for already debuted idols. He "abused" a dog he neither owned or was anywhere near. He "plagiarized" artists who later ran to his defense. The only real one is his racist video that BTS fans post daily on twitter for their circle jerking sessions as if their favs haven't done much worse.

 

None of these scandals have any grounding in GD actually intentionally causing harm or spreading hate, but there are many celebrities who DO have those types of scandals, including his former group member, whom GD was the very first person to call out, long before any investigation started. And this baseless negativity has had a very real impact on his well being. He has been as open as a Korean star can be about the fact that he wanted to end his life after his last album cycle and yet the ugly fans of his low rent replacements both at HYBE and YG still want to try him. I hope y'all never have to watch your hero almost lose the fight for their mental health two separate times. Call his music awful or call him old or whatever but whenever people respond about my GD posts it's some truly dark sided and insensitive garbage. 

 

There's a reason ALL of your favs idolize G-Dragon. It's not just because of his songwriting ability. He actively tries to align himself with good causes and constantly uses his fame to challenge pointless taboos. Both of the top global kpop groups ever were sloppy carbon copies of G-Dragon, the favs of his antis would literally be unemployed without him.

They're also #10 on the artist chart with no new song out in over 3 years. The scalping of petulant 3rd gen fans by the king is only just starting.

I feel like Jungwon has one of the most unique voices in Kpop. Happy to see Heeseung get so much attention for his red hair & general coolness, and I'm also expecting Niki to attain the same notoriety soon; dude's just GOT IT. Jay should get a little more toned; I feel like a little muscle would suit him and I could see him side by side with Minho in a wet Tshirt, arm stretched across his oppa's wet back, nips brazen in the sunlight. These are some Enhypen related thoughts.
