Friendly reminder that G-Dragon outsold literally every single Black Pink member, is achieving higher attendance in every single market than BTS members(and every full idol group not named BTS, BP, or Twice as well), and hasn't left the top 10 in 8 months. I've been telling you guys since I joined(and some of you even before that on the cursed kpop forum) that GD is so much more popular in his main markets of Korea and China that it eclipses the global b-list status of the 3rd gen solo idols. Legacy act  Currently the #2 kpop idol behind only Jungkook. He just also happens to have a bigger legacy than the rest of them too but that doesn't mean he isn't killing it in the present. Ubermensch has the highest pure sales of any solo album released in 2025. His major US distributor literally couldn't print CDs fast enough. All of this after an EIGHT YEAR HIATUS. Not even Michael Jackson was able to maintain his momentum after taking such a long break, and culture moved much slower back in the 90s.

Actually I need TBL to make an emergency deal with SM to trade Tarzzan for Seunghan; that would make the lineup flawless and I'm sure SM has plenty of spare durags for that boy to play around with for a flop solo debut. Plus he follows Tory Lanez on IG so it's a definite CHOP all around

Like the only actually famous NCT members are Taeyong and Mark. It really doesn't take a PhD in kpop to understand why the Taeyeon and Baekhyun stanning SM sheep didn't care for NCT. f(x) also sidelined it's vocals and not even one of the greatest discographies ever could save them.
