Gnarly officially deinfluenced me from kpop. If they're gonna release this noise, they're gonna have to do it in Korean so we can't release how bad the lyrics are.

Yeah, we need NewJeans back. This year is a DUD musically. 

The song is like shockingly BAD, especially after their "Debut" (pun intended) and Touch. It's like they are purposely trying to be controversial, but it is SOOOOOO forced.

The flies f*cking on the sandwich. 

I have pretty low standards when it comes to noisy girlcrush bops, but that intro killed it. I still like the Na na na gnarly and the hottie hottie like a bag of taki kind of parts though.

 

Edit: Song is so heavy and overbearing after 5 listens straight. I'll be going back to streaming Hands Up now

There are parts of the song I do like and the instrumental was cvnty, but wow this was a mess.

 

At least they aren't trying to pigeonhole themselves by releasing a song similar to Touch.

as a huge Katseye fan I'm lowkey disappointed, the verses and lyrics are a mess.. there are redeeming parts such as the melody and their attitude and energy but.. we'll see if it grows on me

The entire Kpop industry and all companies need to just take a 1 year break and reorganize. Just produce trot in the meantime.

Alice Longyu Gao in the credits...guess she's to blame for that horrible intro. Her music is awful, there were much better Hyperpop artists to choose from.
