Dang, the new katseye's song is that noisy BG song that just being noisy without any substance of the song.

 

but ATRL told me GD isn't famous in the west and kpop didn't happen until 3rd gen. They also told me before his record breaking comeback that the reports of him being in talks with the sphere were media play. Sucks to lose I guess, GD/VIPs wouldn't know what that feels like.

No shade but if this song had some korean lyrics thrown in and was by a group like Nmixx or BP or somebody some of you would be calling it SOTY it's really not that far out there to anybody that listens to anything remotely straying from top 40 pop. I'd rather have new songs like this than another stupid synth wave song (boring). Actually shocked a Hybe group is finally doing girl cursh and its fun.

Because genres/aesthetics in art/media are hard to exactly define except that you know them when you come across them.

 

It would be hard to articulate what BTS took from Bigbang or BP took from 2ne1 or Twice from SNSD, but nobody outside of their fans denies the obvious inspiration. This is such an intellectually dishonest argument.

 

 

What makes those cases different from NJZ though is that the plagiarism was both coming from inside their own company and also trying to create direct competitors to them, instead of spiritual successors.
