Yeah, but that was an attempt about two years after JO1's debut. And was more of a failed attempt to replicate BTS' success with English and Japanese songs. They never sang Korean versions of their songs and never promoted their songs on Korean music shows.

Lisa is kinda lost, she wants to sing but barely sing and uses backtrack she's the main dancer but she barely dances  She needs to pick a side because it's not working.

In reading the back and forth between Sheep and JO1, I learned that JO1 promotes in Korea and sings in Korean. Didn’t know that. And their performance (linked by @Windy Day) was good!

The two members who do the second verse before the pre-chorus I liked.

 

I appreciate that this group actually makes melodies and sings. But the NCT brand is so toxic to me I want to avoid it at all costs. Like I refused to give the wish boys a chance initially. Might rethink that.

I've said it from day one - imagine trying to sing while dancing as hard as they do. And they don't have lazy ass talk-singing/rapped songs most of the time and their mics weren't tuned nor was their heavy backtrack.

This is the same venue where SMTOWN is struggling to sell even 10% of the tickets, while Stray Kids sold out 2 nights at full capacity in under 20 minutes
