Which is fine if you're not trying to use it to say they're better.

Saying LSRFM has "popular bsides" and insinuate the public listens to their albums more compared to other artists as if the GP just listened to the album and loved it is disingenuous because that's not how that happens most of the time. It's through a ridiculous amount of promo. That's a single. Not some random side that is doing well.

LE SSERAFIM does indeed have more streams across their albums than the average popular gg though

OMG THEY DONE IT AGAIN :WAP:

No one in K-pop is doing it like them I'm sorry

This is the IGAB formula perfected

The experimental yet refined instrumental

The catchy lyrics and hooks

And the excellent vocals

And this is all without tsuzumi their main vocalist...

They always go for this glitchy sound, huh? Love it. New song reminds me of WJSN's Pantomime

I think the best way to describe their sound is girly pop turned up to the max

You aren't wrong. @Pluto6 got upset because I showed Aespa was ahead of SKZ in streams at the same point in their career so he's been trying to argue that people don't listen to Aespa's B-sides like they do SKZ's. That's why he made that post about other girl groups not having LSF's B-side popularity - it was just him trying to make a quick Aespa dig.

Ironically, he excluded digital singles and OSTs for Aespa, but includes them for LSRF.

Imagine naming your own song after yourself :sabrina:

And then imagine making a smash because the performance video was so good :sabrina: Now "Air" next!

On Spotify, yes. But HYBE also pays for huge playlisting. LSRF's B-side "Come Over" has 4x the playlisting of Aespa's "Whiplash" on their first day.

Hope it backfires and "Ash" snatches :sabrina:

It's one thing to drag numbers, but there's no need to take shots at LSRF personally. I had to unfollow that Twitter user because they were so miserable to LSRF when that hate should be placed squarely on HYBE executives.

No Lesser

I think le sserafim less than stellar run lately has a lot of factors but the main reason i believe is that they have no identity as a group, different concepts is a thing in kpop but most groups are able to maintain their identity while navigating different concepts le sserafim has been too different everytime and that has made them faceless (and the fact that hybe shamelessly copies many concepts and ideas)

Also bad management decisions like sending them to Coachella when they werent prepared for it, almost every group that it's not vocally strong has had bad encores that is talked about gor a while but then is forgotten, but for le sserafim it was coachella that really gave them bad press, also something that has made mad some fans this era is they line distribution, specially Sakura fans who is arguably the most popular members of the group.

And the whole MHJ vs Hybe that burst the hybe family bubble, and affected in a negative way  many hybe groups specially le sserafim and illit making a lot of bunnies that supported the other groups to drop them

However many groups have been able to get success back, it depends on hybe basically

STAYC's single sounds kinda cheap… is BEP not a thing anymore?

It's so weird how they aren't recreating any of their previous success. Like they really were a fluke with TWICE, Chungha, and Apink. It was a solid 4-5 years of hits and then the creativity dried up

No, they've been creatively bankrupt since Beep Beep

Rehashing Poppy was a choice. Not a good one, but a choice nonetheless

I don't even see BEP listed in their credits anymore it just says Rado… maybe they broke up and that's why the music has been so mid ever since? :rip:
