Seems like wanting to embrace the seasonal thing and go with something that sounds like spring time. Pushing a concept instead of a song.  They've sold about 20k albums so far, so at least someone's going to hear the other songs.

It's just different in Western culture but we still consider promo singles to be B-sides here.

Which is fine if you're not trying to use it to say they're better. 
 

Saying LSRFM has "popular bsides" and insinuate the public listens to their albums more compared to other artists as if the GP just listened to the album and loved it is disingenuous because that's not how that happens most of the time. It's through a ridiculous amount of promo. That's a single. Not some random side that is doing well.
