Deserved. SM had many chances, particularly for EXO, Red Velvet, and NCT 127 to do well in the west and they squandered every single opportunity. Never forget that EXO was invited to perform at Coachella years before anyone else. You have Taemin selling out 15k seats by himself in LA when someone was in his ear for 16 years saying he and SHINee have no demand in the west.

 

Now we have a tour where some groups have 2 or 3 members there only, tickets are $1000, and it's gonna be 95% lipsync. You'd be a dodo bird to pay for that.
