The fact that SKZ didn't even have a US distributor or US label until 2022, and now they are already #2 :deadbanana4:  That means that they sold 3.07M pure albums in the US in the span of 3 years only :deadbanana4: These legends! :weeps:

bts purplewhales are saying on twt that JYP is manipulating stray kids and twice's US sales cause there are lots of asian sites their stans can buy from that counts towards bb200? is this true? :foxaylove2:

BATTER UP wasn't announced as their official debut single as they were not supposed to promote it.

Just like KARD's debut wasn't Oh Nana (neither Don't Recall or Rumour) but Hola Hola. Mind you KARD actually toured with those 3 predebut singles in Latin America and Korea.

Batter Up *was* their debut single, even the announcement posters stated it.

It's just that YG decided to revise history and rewrote their debut as April 1st 2024 with Sheesh.

KARD is a different situation since originally DSP promoted them as a project group called K.A.R.D, then they officially debuted as KARD with Hola Hola later, after the project singles + tour were successful.

How would JYPE even manipulate US sales, when they don't even give their artist a basic US distribution and start selling their albums in the US until 4 years later in their career :deadbanana4: Out of the Big 4 companies, JYPE is the most dated in terms of managing and marketing their groups, and it's more the groups themselves who are building their own popularity. If JYP groups, don't manage to build up their popularity by themselves only, they're basically screwed, since the company is basically clueless on how to manage their artists. In short, JYPE simply got lucky with SKZ and TWICE

period. truly the rihanna of kpop

the era was very messy and she took too long to release the album. moonlit floor also ruined the massive hype from the album

its still aoty so whatever

:khalyan2:

BTS fans should be the last one to talk about chart manipulation if they're going to continue to try to convince people Who by Jimin isn't propped up by streaming farms.

Moonlit Floor is literally the biggest song of the album though :khalyan2:

And the album is far from being AOTY as you claim, cause the b-sides were not that interesting tbh :khalyan2:

Weird for you to grouped MYs when you can see comments  if not worst from other Kpoppies

Also calling them supbar and their fans supporting child labour is nothing  than all the bullying aespa had since day 1. we can all drop this faux sympathy  :coffee2:
