We all come in here to get some kpop news and also talk to like-minded people about our fave artists, and that's great. But it does feel sometimes  like there's an imbalance tbh, especially because there are certain artists that majority of this thread likes to put on a pedestal, and then there are other artists that most people here either simply don't care about, or are actively throwing constant subtle/indirect shade at, or just simply are hostile towards. There's also aspects of not giving credit where credit is due for artists that people don't like. I know this is something that happens in all online spaces, but to answer your question, I think the above is what really turns a lot of people off over time in this thread, so they stop posting. Or maybe it's just a matter of being busy with life as we all do.

IDID is a seven-member boy group under Starship Entertainment. idntt is the name of a 24-member group founded by MODHAUS. IDNTTs are divided into three units, unevermet , yesware, and itsnotover, all of which consist of eight members.

They announced that "The Chase" wasn't going to be their signature sound like pretty immediately. It was just supposed to be "mysterious." Honestly, they feel so SM to me - this R&B/pop sound is what defines SM to me.

I knew of Kpop as a kid thanks to fx and SNSD but tbh Yeji was the one who got me into checking for newer artists, primarily because of how fantastic Itzy's early dance practices were:

There are a lot of talented people in this industry but only probably a handful of them can be considered "born to be an idol", and Yeji is one of them imo.
