I love how every time aespa sings live it's quiet, but they lipsync somewhere and everyone's loud as hell about it. It's kind of like how aespa performed a whole festival live in Morocco and sounded great. They lipsync once in America and it's pages of aespa always lipsyncing...this is why I don't blame MYs for being a menace on here/twitter

it's become clear to me that the real reason armys, glitts, and fearnots are so against NJ gaining independence to the point of defending a criminal company, is not for any moral reason but simply because they don't want competition for the groups they like. Obviously NJ doesn't have BTS numbers but they quickly became known in the west and have a discography with a better reputation and more critical acclaim than BTS does. It's the same reason they hate Blackpink.

This should have been the main boy group after Stray Kids but just because they're Japanese they've been pushed to the side. They've got the visuals and the dance skills they should be much bigger with better marketing.

I thought the Indonesian girl is the main vocalist, but because she's the foreigner SM doesn't feature her much and keeps her in the back.

Bang Pig complaining about wanting his own Blackpink then actively destroying the one group in all of K-POP that could have followed in their footsteps, even though they are under HIS COMPANY, will never not be hilarious to me. The ego on these fat Korean men.

 

But then K-POP tends to have this weird thing for cutting off their noses to spite their faces. Old 50 50's Cupid could have been doing the numbers Golden is doing now if the adult men involved had smaller egos and better conflict resolution skills.

Something is missing for me for them. They have the budget, looks like there's some vocalist in there, and adorable members but there's nothing that grabs attention about them! Maybe it's their ages? You can't expect 15 year olds to have star factor. I also think sm gives them quite watered down imagery

They really dislike these artists clearly and would rather ruin their careers than feel like they have one up over them in any way. It's crazy, and fans for some reason egg on + support a company like that knowing that in 2-3 years they'll be saying the same thing once a member does something the company doesn't like. It's wild. But I'd rather they just have their own enclave of K-pop where they plagiarize/cannibalize each other and talk **** in their internal documents and leave everyone alone.

Idk why people go down the "rely on lipsync/they can't sing" route, when there is so much evidence against it. It's giving clutching at straws.

 

If anything this is more proof SM should just let them sing live more. The girls clearly enjoy it more on the stage.

RIIZE and Hearts2Hearts don't have Lee Soo Man's involvement in any capacity and I hate to say it, but it's really showing.

 

H2H new song is very bland. It would've made a nice B-side, but not much more.

 

I also think the vocals are poor and not at SM's usual standard. Their voices sound so thin in the production and the editing/pitch correction is heavy handed, vocally it doesn't sound natural.

 

In the next 6 months, SM really needs to come up with a hit and concept that truly works for them (The Chase was a step in the right direction imo) or they will be in danger of looking like the failure after a long line of GG successes for SM. The SM execs should be feeling pressure. Especially since nothing has gained traction yet.

 

SNSD, f(x), RV and aespa all bloomed within 18 months of debut.

TAE : Since no eye witness accounts have ever been posted I want to thank ARMYs for being ever so considerate. Next time I meet them, I should repay/give them a gift or something. Thanks to their consideration and politeness , I've been going to the mountain a lot. And honestly speaking Armys have been so gentle and polite with me it's not even a joke. If they ever run into me they don't even talk to me, they give me my own space, they don't even run alongside me. Thats the generosity they show me. Main Vocalists - Carmen/Yuha

Lead Vocalists - Stella/Ye-On

 

but Sooyoung/Karina/Joy being sub-vocalists that can outsing with the current mains… SM losing the plot I fear.

SM described it as a "pre-release single" plus it has a full MV, so I wouldn't consider it to be a B-side.
