Yeah this is not it. Love you Katy but these are somehow even MORE generic than the rest of 143. At least main 143 is a mindless dance pop vibe. These are just bland regular pop with nothing unique about them at all. Sad I don't care for a single one

She's so brave for doubling down on this and sticking with her artistic vision and for not compromising her artistry to be more palatable and for refusing to pander to the masses.

 

She wanted 143 to be a ChatGPT robotic pop album and she delivered 

OK is cute and I think i enjoy it, but I'm further confused as to how she thought she nailed a dance pop album with this run of songs when less than half the album is dancefloor ready.

Did anyone else find her Instagram post depressing? The metamorphosis is complete? Like those breadcrumbs about butterflies she started sprinkling with her American Idol performance led to… this moment as a goodbye to the era. I wish it could have been what she wanted.

Always great to have new Katy music on streaming.

 

Also the stupidity of some users here, not everyone is obsessed or concerned about charts & sales. I love 143 and i'm sure i'll love the deluxe tracks so that's the only thing matters.

These are still terrible but honestly maybe a little better than the standard album lol. They at least feel more like the subdued post-Prism Katy we've come to expect a la Tucked/Act My Age. Leagues better than trash like Artificial/Crush/Gimme Gimme.

Wtf is this title tho? It's not part 2, and if it was it should be "143 2". It's just a deluxe version. Does 1432 mean something else like 143 meant "I LOVE YOU"? Honestly so dumb, especially since that's how it's gonna show up on Apple Music now, makes no sense.

 

As for the music, I'm just listening now, I'm in No Tears and it's alright, not really worth adding.

It isn't meant like 143 2.0, it's meant like "I love you too", an answer to 143 ("I love you"). 

 

The new tracks are so cute and kinda fits the Christmas atmosphere, so I think it's the perfect time to have realesed them. I'm sorry for all people still running a hate train for which no one is interested. Atp no one is expecting charts and streams, but in the meantime Katy is selling out a world tour!
