Hope they have things in place for Squabble Up to do what it needs to do radio wise. Luther can be pushed around Feb-March. TV Off late spring going into the summer assuming there's a tour. Reincarnated is of course being unanimously established as the best track on the record and may also prove to translate into mainstream potential if they choose to go that route as well.

2. "reincarnated"
3. "dodger blue"
4. "gnx"

This album was a pleasant surprise! I think I prefer Mr. Morale but I still enjoyed it.

ugh luther is so good it deserves to be a crossover smash

I'm probably in the minority here but I kinda prefer the slower songs on this album (which is usually not the case for kendrick) man at the garden, dodger blue, heart pt 6 and luther are all gems. Kinda not feeling squabble up

I'm excited about the rollout too. I have no idea if people still go with the single treatment thing anymore but he could fill up 2025 with hits if he plays his cards right.

Really? Oh...I'm sure it's a different vibe. I like that this is more commercial driven as he already has artistic art not chart albums.

This album can keep the momentum of his hip hop gem Not like us as opposed to his typical rap songs.

I need the Superbowl and his tour to keep this momentum up but do you have any tea about the direction of this other album.

 

I was hoping he'd put out a deluxe version of this album before the Superbowl

I can't remember if I remember reading it somewhere or just have a gut feeling. 

 

He really ripped up the rulebook with the back-to-back-to-back Drake wackings, so back-to-back albums make a lot of sense. As would him using the Super Bowl frame to drop it. 

 

If so, my only hope is a) that it's as good as GNX and b) creatively brings something that distinguishes it from GNX. 

 

Cus there's nothing more grating than a great concept (back-to-back surprise albums) being marred by material that potentially doesn't live up to the moment or just feels superfluous. 

 

Put simply, if it's literally giving GNX part 2 or a deluxe, I'd rather he just keeps it to GNX and let this "moment" be the standalone flex that it is. This album will continue to sell through Super Bowl etc anyway. 

 

If he's coming with something totally different, then I'm for it.

Many people are feeling this is more a mixtape than an album since it was a surprise drop and only 12 songs. For all we know, THIS is the only album ( I honestly feel like it is).

 

Also the teaser he put out is no where in the album....adding speculation.

yeah the teaser makes it pretty clear that there is still something coming. But I also doubt it's a whole new album. A deluxe for the superbowl with a physical release at the same time would be my guess but it could be anything.

This is more likely

GNX definitely has the power to serve longevity for the Super Bowl but idk I have a feeling that he will drop a continuation/second part of this album in 2025.
