I have finished my listen today as I wasn't able to finish it yesterday. I commend her for sticking to her concept, this is obviously not an album that I will enjoy playing on repeat but I might spin it a couple times once in a while.

I will be keeping Punish, Vacillator and Amber Waves on heavy repeat though, I loved those tracks.

I didn't know she was so big on tiktok and that people want her to make more music like American Teenager until this week...I remember when PD came out, she said AT isn't her usual genre and she just wanted to try it out, so it's funny to me that people are so attached to it (I don't care for it, I'm a Crush girl) Happy for EC that she released this EP as it's what she wants to do and doesn't feel pressured to make music she doesn't want to, although I'm not really big on ambient and darkwave :D

I'm glad to have a song like Amber Waves from that point on in my life.

this is all over tiktok… multiple viral posts about it and her ceo comments on there and twitter… her 300k debut is coming 

 

honestly good for her for just making whatever the hell she wants… i'm surprised how much i ended up enjoying it LOL she really has done a good job of carving her own niche bc WHO else could make this and pull it off

First half of Pulldrone is sooooo good but the sound that comes after is annoying but that's the only bad thing I have to say about this project!

I didn't expect to like it so much. Vacillator and Amber Waves fighting for that SOTY title 

 

the review is giving 8 at least but ok i'll take it, still better than 6.4 for PD

Could have been a great album if those 15 minute noise songs were turned into 1-2 minute interludes, retaining the atmosphere but making it a lot more digestible.

I've barely listened to anything else since this came out  I love playing ambient/drone-ish music when I'm working, doing house chores or late at night pre-bedtime (as I'm typing this kiiii) and this has been my go-to album for the last two weeks.

 

LOVE LOVE the atmosphere she creates throughout the entire project. The first listen was a lot. Many of the tracks are so sinister but also weirdly comforting, esp the title track.  

 

Amber Waves has me in a chokehold. It's legitimately incredible, we knew that already from the live version and snippet but damn the full thing HITS so hard. SOTY contender already. 

Also (for those who haven't) I really recommend checking out her Ashmedai ambient project. She was definitely setting up the stage for Perverts. A lot of elements can be heard on the album. She said that this was going to be Track 8 before she swapped it for Thatorchia
