2.7 million streams came from Water; so seeing that the "Singles" kind of lost momentum and she didn't have a "Water" sized hit... it kind of makes up for the lost of streams compared to her debut's first day... but still its disappointing and unfortunate.

& its understandable why she would think that... i think right now her best bet is to find a completely new label and team; because its clear she has a team full of yes men & nobody's truthfully telling her where she falls short. guess we'll see where she's at in a year from now :(

while i do agree the album was a step down in quality wise to her debut... it wasn't terrible. i think her biggest problem is that she doesn't promote... like at all & when she does... it's way to late. she had a chance of redemption with "CHANEL" & it went nowhere because she barely acknowledged it until it had already lost steam... same with "SDIA"; bc/ how is the featured artist promoting it more than you... she's a beautiful girl & she has some real gems in her catalogue but its time for her to realize that making 4 tiktok's a day isn't going to make your music pop off like it should.

the fact that him & his family are fighting for him to get out just shows they find nothing wrong with what he did... even seeing his children still calling him innocent and still standing behind him is absolutely disgusting to me.

her career is really frustrating because she should be soooo much bigger. i know we blame her team a lot; but its honesty her fault as well. after the way chanel was handled and even SDIA... it just feels like she doesn't understand the importance of promotion. her album comes out next month; and the hype is stalled. i don't think she has one bad song & she's had so many songs that should've been major hits but she and her label have allowed them to fizzle out. gonna be streaming this on thursday tho nevertheless!

happy monday! initially this album didn't move me in any way; which was understandable because I think GUTS is my favorite 21st century album... so expectations were already high. after 2 days of sitting down and listening to this album... i'm completely speechless. there's just something about an artist taking their life situation and knowing how to incorporate it into their art. this album is absolutely a concept album & i think she executed the rise and fall of an relationship PERFECTLY!! I honestly don't think she could have released a more perfect album; it has songs that fit on GUTS and SOUR but somehow they're still different and perfectly blend into one another. its incredible to see that 5 years ago she was singing about getting her drivers license, and now she's managed to make 3 beautiful projects that will talked about for decades to come. fyi, honeybee is the best song on this album

honeybee is gonna sky rocket. it's honestly her most perfect ballad & the piano and strings bring everything together. can see that song becoming one of her signatures. just wow!!!!!

are we sure you're talking about nicki minaj? because her collaborating on a song with a female rapper means nothing when her character/attitude towards them is horrible shortly afterwards...

it's honestly insane seeing her break more records with her third album, especially after releasing such a monster debut like SOUR. She's really made all the right moves in her career & it's great seeing her have such an established fanbase so early on. Not every one can be an album, singles, and touring artist... all while making critically and commercially successful music; but thankfully olivia rodrigo does.

she just broke the all time partial day debut on spotify …. pretty sure she's definitely coming for a 70M+ debut. INSANE.

i really hate that she gets barely any type of promo. like even down to her videos and visualizers; you can tell that it's nothing but her phone camera... which is crazy because she's signed to a label with such a small roster. this album is incredible tho... bible, call security, and boring are INCREDIBLE. no matter what tho, she should just perform and promote; something good always comes from that.

going through this thread & drop dead's is making me laugh… because it's genuinely the same people saying how she's not experimenting enough or how none of the songs build up to anything… which is completely false. she gives you rock and orchestral elements & you're still complaining… i never understood ATRL members determining what's a "single" and what sounds like an "album track" & frankly if anybody knows music, it would be THE olivia rodrigo. Pretty sure her releasing a 5 minute song, shows she's not worrying about chasing a hit to "revive" or "kick off" an era. OT: this is a really beautiful song, & i definitely enjoy this more than drop dead. i was super against a 2nd single because I thought it would personally make me lose interest in the album… but seeing as how this is the "climax" of the album; i'm excited to see where we'll start and end.
