  • I pretty much agree with this review, it's not getting carried away trying to pretend this is the worst album ever, it's just honest that it's kind of hollow and has nothing to say. Luckily that's pre

Just from reading the excerpt that was posted here, I'm more concerned at the fact that the review is using slang terms that you would see the average person on social media use... :biblionny:

Who do you think an album review of Katy Perry's newest flop is written for exactly…?

The review: :flame::mad:

The score: :kitty:

But they're spending too much time dissecting this short ass record fr. Critics are taking DAYS to review a 30-minute album and coming up with some bullshit critiques

The review is way more scathing than the score…

Pitchfork showing mercy :jonny5:

They should've given it a 4.3 to be more iconic. :ryan3:

Kiiiiiiiiii

I listened to wide awake today and felt bad :toofunny3:

okay they better f*cking correct that EGREGIOUS Unapologetic score if they're for real about giving this the same score. that review is genuinely still one of the most disgusting and sexist things on that site to this date and I know the dingbat who reviewed it regrets it or whatever but it still deserves a rescore pronto. unbelievable.

But Katy Perry is weird like Olive Garden is exotic: not really at all, and everything is suffocated in cheese.

One day you're ablaze, burning yourself into corneas the world over. Then you're just a smoky outline of what you once were. And then you've disappeared entirely. Just like a firework.

THE CHILLS I GOT WHEN I READ THAT :deadvision:

THAT ENDING WAS DIABOLICALLLLLLLL

143 being worse than awful is the perfect description of the album (or Katy's last 4 albums if we're being honest) :foxaylove3:

I really want her to do a pop rock vaguely Christian album next. Go truly back to basics, a mix of her actual Christian rock origins and One of the Boys. Be the 2020s Amy Grant. No one else is doing that, at least it would stand out, and if it flops at least it flops with Dignity_HilaryDuff.rar

I really thought she was going to comeback with some evolution of her pop/rock sound, because I seriously think this would work in the actual commercial climate and thought it was the sound she's more into, artistically. We had hints on the previous album as well (Tucked, for example) ...and then she came back with that atrocious WW single, stuck on the same tired sound and completely annihilated any of my hopes and whatever was left of her starpower.
