      Looking at streams, Nighttime Thing is definitely standing out. It got twice as many streams as the track before and after it yesterday, so people are going back to it more / isolating it. And I hear

    The only track I dislike is the opening track - Go Outside. I don't vibe with it AT ALL :dies:

     

    Really a great album - out of the new tracks the highlights were Run Run, Garden, Nighttime Thing, Feels Right and Clearly.

     

    Dead Man and Slow Motion are 10/10 masterpieces from the start

    I've only ever been a casual fan of hers, but this album has made me into an actual fan. Definitely her best work so far and I can't wait to take a long road trip with this album on repeat.

     

    Though I think every song is top notch, my favorites are probably:

    (Isn't It) Obvious

    Get To You

    Run Run

    Slow Motion

    Clearly

    Nighttime Thing

     

    But wow, really such a great album. If tour tickets are affordable I may just have to see her sing this album live.

    Speaking of streams, apparently Fire is the song they put on playlists for the week - and it has a better playlist reach than any of the other singles - which I find very random. It's a solid song but it's such an album track. Kind of a waste. I think Nighttime Thing would have been the right choice, with potential to also hit radio afterwards

    They should push Slow Motion instead... Fire is not a standout and the fan reception to SM has been overwhelmingly positive

    It's an amazing song... All 3 singles are amazing and it's really a shame Def Jam seems to have checked out after The Pains of Growing because this album deserves a push. There still hasn't been a radio single in the US...

    Left Alone is giving major Jaded by Miley vibes but more chill. The guitars sounded super similar to me, and both songs are produced by Greg Kurstin… inch resting

    I will never understand how Def Jam finds her worthy of this kind of investment - there was clearly money put into this project - but then the album comes out and it seems like zero effort is put into even attempting to generate a return on that investment. This is a GREAT album.

    Nighttime Thing needs a remix with Doja. It's already produced by one of Doja's main collaborators.

    Some reviews from big-ish publications have come in. 4/5 stars from DIY and 7/10 from Clash. Both count for Metacritic.

    Hope to see some more come in and it'd help inform people the album is out :duca: 

    I listened to more songs from the album, and there are a lot of gems, but Drive remains my favorite. It needs to get more playlisting/get viral somehow.

     

    That chorus melody is so catchy!
