SZN4 - 'I Fear...'
You rationalised exactly what I was thinking. Pop That Trunk and Private Show showcase them perfectly as something fresh in the current pop landscape - bold, authentic and reminiscent of the past without being too try hard. CHARISMA. Just expansive, almost genre less fun music. Would love an album of it, perhaps in an Outkast half/half style.

SZN4 - 'I Fear...'
Private Show is a smash hit. The second half of this album is massive. Agree that I'd like more weirdness from them - they can go bigger

Ariana's audience numbers are really good. I think this is going to be a strong era for her on radio, and the potential saving grace for the next single.
- Chris Brown & Usher's 'The R&B Tour' is a massive success, why?

Sam Smith - "Constant Companion"
I read Constant Constipation when scrolling too fast

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Agreed I think this was a clear opportunity for a conjoined track, so I wonder why she went away from that (seeing as she's done it before)

UK Midwk (Wed): Rein Me In #1x20, Dai Dai #2, Ariana #3/11/19; Albums: Ariana #1, 34k
This always happens with mega #1s in the UK and US We beg and pray for them to hit #1 on their way up so that the chart stays fresh, then they unleash a new evil and overstay their welcome - A Bar Song, Old Town Road, Rein Me In, Choosin' Texas, One Kiss, Luther

UK Midwk (Wed): Rein Me In #1x20, Dai Dai #2, Ariana #3/11/19; Albums: Ariana #1, 34k
It's not charting at the moment because this was the week it was due to be on ACR so it appears that way for the midweeks but will be reset in the final official chart as it's gained above the threshold. HTIMYLM and petal are locked for this week.

#1 smash: Shakira's Dai Dai tops the Spotify Global Chart
Nope. Drake did it already with MIA (Spanish) in 2018.

December 10 - 'On Your Side'
Excited for them - we've needed more music for the younger generation
- Moments when artists did something you thought was beneath them?

December 10 (Simon's new 1D) kills it at Capital's Summertime Ball
I agree that the vocal processing is way out of hand - it makes 5/7 members sound indistinguishable. Can only really tell when Nicholas, John and sometimes Henrik are singing without looking. Would love to hear a song led by someone other than Josh

Found it interesting that the cameras would avoid Cruz. Also felt majority lipped? But not a bad start at all. End of Beginning is where their sound should go.

Drake breaks Taylor Swift record on Global Spotify
Same for Drake's being impressive that a slow 5 min album track could go #1 on Spotify Global.
- Biggest male act this century?

HDD predictions: Drake 450K, Gracie Abrams 150K+

HDD: #1 BTS 183k, #2 Kanye 153k, #3 Melanie Martinez, #11 Raye, #25 Slayyyter
Kanye's album was forced to release or they would have to forfeit the preorders, and I doubt they would've done all that for just 20k... expecting a big shipment and surprise tonight
