Kelly Clarkson
Night two we got Would You Call That Love and Tightrope which replaced TTWL and Sober (🥲). Unfortunately, tonight I think I experienced a real Vegas crowd. Both nights I was in GA, but last night I was surrounded by real Kelly fans. Tonight there were some Kelly fans and some Vegas people with money to spend and it really impacted the experience. Aside from the obvious issues with distance and how expensive Vegas is, I fully get folks wanting a proper tour. I want to go to a Kelly show and be surrounded by people who at least appreciate her. People tonight were leaving mid show, sitting on the floor, yelling at fans for being too enthusiastic. Really took me out of the experience.

Couple of things now that I've come down from my high, haha Was nice seeing Cory on stage tonight. She added TTWLI, TYH and I'd Be Lyin'. Took out Mine, Catch My Breath, Tightrope, and the cover. Take You High didn't have the same impact as it did on the show. Since they don't use backing tracks, the repeated part was missing so the chorus felt kinda empty. She went for the big note on SUBG (it was pitched down) and nailed it. Where Have You Been was spectacular, as was Sober. Also, Weiss was running around the stage during I'd Be Lyin' so I'm assuming we're getting a live video.

I don't mean to overstate this, but I've been following Kelly since the moment she first appeared on my TV. I was 12 then; I'm 36 now. I've supported her through every TV appearance, every album, every tour—everything. Watching her tonight, I was just so incredibly proud to be her fan. She's truly in a league of her own. Whatever Kelly decides to do next, she'll have my full support. She's earned it. She's an unbelievable talent, and honestly, this is EASILY the best I've ever heard her.

It has to be. Based off how Michelle has been describing it, I'm having a hard time imagining anyone else. Plus, they were kinda close back in the day (still love when Kelly joined The Wreckers for that cover of Cigarettes). Very excited to hear Kelly's take if it ends up being her. Heading down in a bit for Kelly's show! Haven't seen her live since the MOL tour. Long overdue.

Kelly Clarkson - "I'd Be Lyin'"
This is much better than I was expecting. I do think the overall meaning gets lost but it's certainly catchy. Wish the verses were refined just a bit more. Let's add Aben to these sessions and I think we'll have a really solid team. Seeing her tonight and tomorrow!

Kelly Clarkson - "I'd Be Lyin'"
I said this when it came out, but I much prefer a simple, but well executed, video like WHYB when the budget isn't there. The most egregious videos in Kelly's career have happened when they were trying to do too much with a shoestring budget.

Hilary Duff is serving vocals this era
Are there any videos of her interacting with the crowd mid-song? I've really been enjoying her comeback and want these to be truly live performances, but I'm just not buying it. Even the assertions that she's singing along to a backing track aren't accurate. She's clearly miming to pre-recorded vocals, which is fine if that makes her feel more comfortable.

Are the Spice Girls ballads the best of all girl groups?
I really love Viva Forever. It makes me so nostalgic for the '90s.

Alessia Cara: Love & Hyperbole Tour 2025
Saw her in Chicago last night - the setlist was immaculate and the crowd was singing every word. I say this all the time, but Alessia deserves the world. She's so incredibly talented and down to earth. Whatever happens after this era, it's been a pleasure being her fan for the last decade.

Alessia Cara - 'Love & Hyperbole (Deluxe)'
Really like Easy and Clean. Acoustic Dead Man actually made me appreciate the song more.

Brynn Cartelli - "Beginning of the End"
Yeah, I agree. I was so impressed with her debut EP and album. She had seemed to hint that she was dropped, but she's still listed on the Elektra website. Hopefully she continues to be given a push.

I think this perhaps provides more evidence to speculation that they're likely recording portions of these shows - making it all the more vital that her voice be in top shape.

Damiano David - 'FUNNY little FEARS'
They've thrown everything at this project and it just isn't sticking with the public. I'd be surprised if he gets a push like this a second time.

Alessia Cara - 'Love & Hyperbole'
I LOVE clearly. Can't wait to experience it live. I'm still holding out hope that something can break through from this album and have a viral moment. She deserves it so much.

Kelly Clarkson - "Where Have You Been"
Agree - I've been singing it all day. Has definitely grown on me. Actually love the simplicity of the video too. Would've preferred something like this over their attempts in the past to do more elaborate/empowering concepts on a budget.

Kelly Clarkson
I think they just uploaded the video a second time to her YouTube channel? Probably because it seems like the first one isn't monetized (have yet to see an ad on it). Not that Kelly's in a place where YouTube streams matter, but it looks messy. Obviously another growing pain of this indie era. Hopefully they're learning a lot. haha

Kelly Clarkson
Yeah, I'm a little let down by this. I think my expectations were high because I've loved so much of her material that never got released (Empty Handed, Close Your Eyes, DEGUOM, I Can't Lose and MANY others). I also know this isn't where she is in her life (she's been very open about not dating) - so I don't even have that to hang onto. Hoping this is the first taste of a full body of work.

Alessia Cara: Love & Hyperbole Tour 2025
Very happy with the setlist and the songs she included from ITM. Really wish she would forget about 'How Far I'll Go'. It sticks out like a sore thumb in her catalog and any of the kids who cared about her singing it have no doubt aged out by now. I was shocked at how many children were taken to her shows in 2019 seemingly just to hear that song.

Kelly Clarkson - "Where Have You Been"
She looks stunning in that clip. Can't wait!

Damiano David - "Next Summer"
He's proof that you can literally have all the ingredients - the right look, talent, label support, paired with the right writers/producers, etc - and it just doesn't hit.

Alessia Cara - 'Love & Hyperbole'
It's maddening that an artist this talented is allowed to be ignored to this degree. I was randomly thinking the other day that if she had somehow managed to find a new label before this era and delivered this exact album to a team with some interest in 're-launching' her…I know it would've found success. Of course, leaving Def Jam would be risky since the only reason she's managed to stay signed is due to their weak roster…but I think it would be worth the risk for her.

Alessia Cara - 'Love & Hyperbole'
US leg of the tour officially postponed. Not surprising. I'm actually relieved for her. Hopefully she reschedules with more appropriately sized venues.

Like many of you I would've loved for 'Let Me Down' to get a moment in the spotlight. I love it as much now as I did then. Did we ever find out who it was about? I believe I remember her saying she skipped a Pilates class and wrote it in the parking lot. I've always believed it was about her brother, but I'm not sure where I picked that up.

Kelly Clarkson slays "Dark Side" on talk show
Which powerhouse vocalist has re-peaked (and in my opinion Kelly has surpassed her vocal peak) in their 40's?? She's incredible.
