The way the Rep era literally could've been her biggest era, the only issue was the album not being her best work 

'1989' lost a lot of streams since the release of its "Taylor's Version", so that was expected.

REP gets 5.5m a day..1989 both versions combined get 8.5m 

 

And 1989 combined has 12.4billion total

It highkey killed all of them except Lover, the other albums dropped 40% or so since it's release (Midnights the most affected as it wasn't the new shiny one anymore of course). They're slowly recovering though

I never saw why, it's nothing outstanding but it's a decent cute pop LP, much better than some of the bs she has made over the years

Not all Swifties loathe Lover. 
 

We are a minority, Like me, it's my most played Taylor Swift pop album, sure there are songs that might be underwhelming but overall I really like the theme and tone of the album, just carefree not too trying hard unlike its predecessor.

Makes you wonder how high 1989 would be in that ranking if it was up on Spotify upon release and not 3 years after. I remember Shake It Off breaking the daily record day after day when it was on it for a few days.

Yeah the 1989 streams are not accurate as many of its main years are not captured, since she never released it to Spotify till a much later time. Coupled with TV now replacing 1989 in many swifties' playlists- it's only expected that rep takes over for now. 

Its so funny how much Dua bloated her first album after the fact to make that achievement.

With less songs and promo too… during her hate era because of 1989's shenanigans.
