Ugh yeah. So ugh this week, the music has been ROUGH. Oh my god the toll on my emotions these songs have taken on me.

This really Isn't a bad album at all. It's very much so not the best KP album and feels kind of dead/hollow, and she deserves the lashing for having Dr Luke produce the record/him giving her his worst material but honestly It's not deserving of being the lowest rated female album on metacritic. There's worse albums from our faves. I'm His, He's Mine, Gorgeous "Lyrics are eh, but the If you don't, but now you know part Is great", Lifetimes, Nirvana, All The Love, Artificial, Truth and Wonder are good. WW, Crush and Gimme Gimme are my least favorites.

With all this negativity it's easy for gp to sleep on the album, but damn 143 is really THAT album, bop after bop after bop. I mean I can't even decide what's my fave song

Now you know what it feels like to be a Nickelback stan in 2017.

It's also sad because the relentless bullying she received during Witness/Smile, she didn't even work with Dr Luke during those records. And those albums besides lyrical content, were fun, and some great songs on both. This Is even worse, and I do feel bad for her. While some people think she brought It on herself, she did choose the wrong lead, which killed the entire era. Her label/team should be ashamed for pushing a song like Woman's World produced by Dr Luke lol. When All The Love Is very Teenage Dream/Prism and fit for a better lead, or Nirvana/Artificial

1. Lifetimes 10/10 best track on album. Feels complete & it's amazing.

2. Crush 10/10 its just carefree big banger. When it bops it bops. It's very catchy.

3. Nirvana 9/10 I was sure from snippets that it will be my favourite but the song missing something like its building up to something & we got amazing pre-chorus but that's it? It needed better beat drop + bridge 

4. Wonder 9/10 It's giving me 2010's edm track vibe. It's fine bop.

5. I'm his He's mine 8/10 Doechii shines on it. Overall good track.

6. Truth 8/10 

7. Gimme gimme 7/10

8. Gorgeous 7/10 

9. All the love 6/10

10. Artficial 6/10 

11. Woman's World 6/10 I liked it better at the beginning but i got bored by it

I don't really argue with people online as I feel like words and tone of voice can get misconstrued a lot and I really cba with the back and forth. I'll admit it's been hard for me to bite my tongue, but I'd rather just sit and enjoy the album and talk to fellow fans than participate in the nonsense. "NIRVANA" has been hitting extra hard for me today. I would kill to hear it in a club.

Woo! It's my favorite photo from this era so far. She's just so unbelievably stunning. I hope we are getting a deluxe at some point or at least an EP of leftover tracks. She doesn't really have anything to lose at this point.

"LIFETIMES" is already my most played track of this year. Katy has been providing the soundtrack to my life since 2008. She's such a legend. 🩵🩷

Love to see an OG Kat  I've been with her since 2010 I think. I still have my cotton candy scented Teenage Dream CD my mom bought me back then - and it still has that beautiful sweet scent which is insane to me 

I just hope in a few months when the hateful hive mind moves on to their next target some of them will realize they have been too harsh on her and give this album a chance. The back half is so strong.

I'll be exposing the fact I'm in my early 30s with this revelation, but I actually discovered Katy through MySpace lol. This was before "Hot N Cold" was a single but she had it as one of the songs on her MySpace music player and I used one of those dodgy online MP3 downloaders so that I could put it onto my iPod. When I tell you that song RULED my life I'm not exaggerating. I think "LIFETIMES" is actually about my relationship with that song. 
 

The cotton candy scented booklet was such a great marketing tactic. I remember one of my friends was debating whether or not to purchase a copy of the CD and when I told them it was going to be scented they picked up a copy that same day. 2010 was such a great time to be alive.

Me too and yes mine has still the scent too and has a piece of confetti in it from the california dreams tour
