Still not sure where this is going to end up in my Katy albums ranking but it notably has fewer skips than anything since Teenage Dream

I can't even begin to try and rank it amongst the rest of her discography as I already struggle with her other albums. My favorite Katy album is always changing depending on my mood or what's going on in my life at that moment in time. 
 

I remember back when it came out that Smile got dragged pretty hard but "Tucked", "Never Really Over", "Only Love", "Resilient", "Daisies" and "Harleys In Hawaii" are some of my ALL TIME favorite Katy tracks.

Same for me! I've been to Witness the tour, it was my first concert ever, an unforgettable experience! I've always loved Katy's music but I've been her devoted fan since 2014 so Witness was the first new album since I've becomed one, that's why it will always have a special place in my heart. I remember being so excited and emotional over CTTR realese, I was (am still now) so proud of that song and the performance at the Grammys.

I can't wait to attend 143 tour and see Katy again, one of my dreams is to meet/speak with her in person!

"Chained to the Rhythm" was an instant smash for me and I'm not sure why it seemed to have to grow on some people. That chorus is such a killer.

I never imagined she would release such a beautiful and inspirational song on this dance album. I must have heard Wonder about 40 times and I still get emotional 

It's lovely to see in this thread us sharing our stories and memories as Katycats, it's one of the reasons why I signed up on atrl actually. It's always the best thing seeing how music and artists can connect people and be an opportunity to spread love and light

Now that you said this I realized that I listen all way through Witness and OOTB the most, what a strange case! Ngl I'd love so much if Katy would go back to the pop rock route, I think her personality suits that genre the best! 

Gorgeous and All The Love are a little addictive. 

And like, here is the thing, it does not sound like a bad album. These critics are crazy. This is at least a 3/5. I would give it a 3.5/5.

So this album, i have to say, is a good album. It's like Witness but better.

Does this mean that yes, when i listen i have to think about the context. And i think about it. Everybody who listens to this album is going to be using their brain. 

I actually did not listen to Doja Cat until ATRL shoved her down my throat. And i listened to her music and when i thought about her working with Dr. Luke i had a different image. So what is happening here is making me do a lot of thinking and i will be doing a lot of research. 

Ugh i find this so interesting. 

Dr. Luke wrote many of my favorite songs. I love Dr. Luke. Has an image of Dr. Luke been painted in my head that is absolutely terrible? Yes. I also love Kesha. And here is the thing, did Kesha ask me not to listen to this album? She did not. So, i will be listening, same as i will be listening to Kesha's album. 

 

All the love is the most emotional song on 143.

 

I have the same feeling I had when I listened for the first time Only Love on Smile. That song is a hidden masterpiece
