It's so funny seeing haters of this album talking about BONUS tracks. Like you hate this album that much that you spend time to found bonus tracks?  

 

But good keep streaming and looking for it. Everybody knew that this album will be panned by critics but thing than can be changed is how this album is going to sell

The tracks flow seamlessly into one another, there's reference/Easter eggs to Katy Perry's other songs lyrically, and this feels like a fully conceptualized/realized record. Does that mean it is a concept album? No. Also, her vocals have never sounded better or better produced. Yes, I do not like Dr. Luke but I'm not going to deny the fact that he and his collaborators did a damn solid job her. This honestly might be her strongest record to-date.

I'm assuming there was some sort of deal there. Like, he'd charge less of an advance and get less publishing if he did 90% of the album and got all the singles. At least I hope so, cause if she ruined her career because of that man and did it FULL PRICE too

Katy Perry is officially over isn't she?

Katycats I stand with you and I don't typically like Katy perry albums besides her debut. Pop rock is her best sound. With that said this isn't as bad as people want it to be? Camila by far has the worst album of the year to me so far. I'm halfway through its upbeat and I haven't had the urge to shut it off yet. Dated yes but if you out yourself back in the year this should've been released it's more enjoyable.

Same. I think so (hope so).

It's never really over, but the rope she's hanging onto is down to a single thread at this point. Going top 7 on Apple Music is shocking to me and giving me a glimmer of hope, but one more misstep and it's a wrap babes, commerically at least. She'll need an undeniably good song a la Hung Up or Believe if she wants to have a serious comeback. Either this is going to light a fire in her and she'll at least try, or she's going to take a really long break and come out with an acoustic album that no one will care about in another 5 years. It's so strange cause the way she talks about this album in interviews she seems engaged and passionate about it, but it didn't really translate well onto the album. I'm glad that she's at least in a place in her life where she seems happy and healthy

Barely keep updated on the pop scene, is her other old producer (max martin i think) still doing music? Wonder why she didnt work with him as much as with Luke.

Max Martin has writing credits on Gorgeous. 

 

MM has also did Ariana's Conan Greys's album this year. Other than he's been less busy that past couple of years.

Just finished the album. It's good definitely not great but I enjoyed a good amount of the tracks. My favorite was 'Truth' for sure. Was the one that clicked most instantly for me.
