Only #8 on New Music Friday UK which seems awfully low.

 

I think it's fine, not as bad as some of you seem to think it is. The chorus/snippet is the best bit. I do think it's a slightly easier listen than Forget About Us because I think this is much more melodic and I think this is structured much better. As I thought, the live arrangement was much much better (her live vocals just elevate every song she sings).

 

Again, it's inoffensive and serviceable but it's just not a statement "Perrie is here" type of song so I don't see this doing much for her. It's cute enough for me to bop to which I guess I'll take from her!

She has such a powerful voice with such a deep, rich texture to it and she's got an incredibly recognisable tone.. it's a bit weird to me that she isn't utilising it much. It's her strongest asset.. her voice is so much better than this song which is the problem. Hopefully she has bigger/better songs to come…

As much as I love it and as MUCH as I wish this to be a hit I do think it'll be a top 20 and drop out of top 75

 

Just hope her team don't back peddle because the hype from her performance and love for her is definitely there - it just looks like they don't know what to do with her.

Sorry but I'm disappointed. She really needs to set herself apart from the Duas and the Sabrinas of the industry and this song doesn't do that tbh. She really should be coming out with classics at this point. The girls have been saying "now I can create the type of music I've been wanting to make after the band". But all these songs (bar My Love by Leigh probably) could've been released by the group. 
 

I don't think this is gonna be the hit she/her label are looking for. Happy to be proven wrong though.

She did? When, where sorry? The first I remember seeing it was in an insta dump she posted some weeks after Forget About Us came out

I hate to say this, because I loved Forget About Us, but this is a snoozefest.  Her next one will hopefully be a lot better.

I like this. it kinda slays.

The song is amazing. This is her chance at having a BIG european hit. It's perfect radio fodder. You don't need to be extravagant or act too much if you don't feel like so. We already have many try-hards in terms of pretentious offers …

 

They have to look out for Europe … this will do better here than UK.

Dear Perrie, this is a cute song just like Forget About Us was, but it's not something that you should be releasing when you're just starting and want to establish yourself as a solo act. You should be coming with full force, but you're coming with half-baked songs. 

I love this!! It's very 80s without being the typical synths pop from that era. So catchy!

The little mix girls just show you how hard how it is to be successful in the current climate. Like I thought they were gonna have worldwide smash hits out of the gate.
