Troye Sivan - "Party"
This is a bop and that's well enough. The music video is awesome as well.

Tove Lo - 'ESTRUS'
I quite liked "F.A.M.T," "I'm the Cake," and "Source of Life." I absolutely loved "Die for My Art with a Lonely Heart" and "Are We on a Break." I don't hate "Roomie," though for me, the concept needed to be pushed even further for the track to be truly memorable. "If I Could I Would" really annoyed me—a pointless, unfinished demo. "Idiot" reminded me of the worst moments of Sunshine Kitty. "Des Fleurs" feels too much like Stromae for my taste, and "The Bad One" is boring. I still don't know what to think of DNH. I was expecting worse, so I'm actually surprised that I ended up liking 5 or 6 tracks—plus the lead single (that I adore)!

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
Orbit is pretty but I'm afraid I'll end up skipping it very quickly, the progression is not marked enough, it could've been even more grandiloquent in the end. Neon Signs is cute but boring. The rest is good ! Loved Let's Get Married, Aftermath, REDLIGHTS (big Island vibes), Different Religion, Innocent Ways and Snow. Overall, it's less "epic" than the previous one, but very well produced and better shaped, I'd say. It feels like the album is not as upbeat as the visuals/teasers were selling it when it was announced though. It consists mainly of fairly intense mid-tempo tracks. Here's hoping the bonus track "Smile" provides the rhythmic energy the album is just a tad lacking.

Troye Sivan - "Party"
Where is this budget coming from?? Big Games of Thrones vibes, we love it.

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
I live the snippet we have of Let's Get Married. The chorus seems to be magical and ethereal.

Various Artists - 'FX Series The Shards (Official Soundtrack)'
LA Wants Me Dead has a nice sound, but way too short. I hope the other tracks are not 1min30s long.

Troye Sivan - "Party"
omg troye?? this sounds so good

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
The remix is useless and awful but Different Religion ??? Incredible. One of her best tracks. I've pre-ordered the vinyl with the bonus track then, Miley I trust you you better not disappoint.

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
Apparently Different Religion got played on Radio 1?

BRONZE AVERY – 'IT'S ALL FUN & GAMES'
The snippets he teases on Tik Tok are very good, especially the one in front of his mirror where he mentions Mariah Carey, Sade and George Michael. That one sounds like heaven.

Victoria Monét - "Juicy"
Very Bed Chem of her. It's fun, groovy, I like it. Reach Out is still amazing tho.

Troye Sivan - "Party"
Madonna and Mirwais are credited as writers, so I'm pretty sure it's not a sample but an interpolation. A sample of Music wouldn't fit at all on the album with the description he did of it (except for the song described as a Madonna/Janet Jackson track but it's not this one). My guess is that he quotes "Music makes the people come together" or something like that in the lyrics. As for the production, his brother is credited??? I've listened a bit to his music, yeah it's gonna be guitar driven again but upbeat since that's how Troye qualifies it. No Gorrës or Antonoff in the productions credits though, I'm very curious. It's not gonna be the electronic bop you're waiting for I fear.

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
It is possible to have more than one artist with the same name, it depends on if the name is trademarked or not.
-
MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
Do you think her dropping her last name could have a impact on her numbers ? I personally kinda don't care but idk it doesn't feel like the smartest move.

Troye Sivan - "LA Wants Me Dead" (from 'The Shards')
That's cool, but that's too short…

MILEY - 'Bass Persuades'
SB is her best album. The promo was poorly handled so I hope they know what they're doing for this next record. All I need, is her next album to be GOOD, as good as SB. Don't care if it's rock, dance, disco, trip-hop or smtg else, I just want it to be good. I hope SB was just the start and she's about to deliver for the next 10 years.

Carly Rae Jepsen - 'Day and Night'
Yeah, Motivation is a bit boring. The production sounds empty, it lacks layers and garnish. I'm very very excited for the "Day" part as On Wires and After All are amongst her best songs. I'm a little more cautious for the "Night" part, DLMOTDF and this last one are cute but not on the same level as So Right, Psychedelic Switch, Shy Boy or even Kamikaze. She might be in a too joyful mood to make night-ish dancefloor anthem with a good nostalgic/melancholic melody ?

Sam Smith - 'Hazel Eyes'
I think Sam just released what I'd consider his best album. I've never been completely won over by any of his albums; his last two were rather haphazard, with some tracks best left out (their length was also a disadvantage). And being rather picky about ballads in general, there were always some tracks on his first two albums that didn't quite work for me, despite their quality. Here, everything is incredibly cohesive and, above all, good from start to finish. Every track is somewhat original, memorable, with no filler, and this style suits him perfectly! "Moondance" with Feist and "Thief" are two of his best tracks. That version of "To Be Free" with the choir coming in mid-song—the wave of chills I got! It's a perfect album for autumn, not necessarily the super comforting kind you might expect. There's tension and doubt in the melodies and lyrics. But it's really well done. I'm definitely going to get the vinyl.

Isaac Dunbar - "Man Overboard"
The song is cute but I wish it was a bit more....just more actually. There's no real difference between the verses and choruses, it's a shame the melody is VERY catchy ! Princess is very good tho.

Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
I have Michael and Hot Wet Delirious on repeat. I'm less of a fan of Speakerphone, a tad repetitive imo. Very curious to listen to that album, the cover is immaculate.

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
Honestly the song is a grower. I kept coming back to it today. The musical production is HEAVEN, i love the nostalgic vibe, i wanna live in NY thanks to the mv and i wanna go to work with that song in my ears every morning. It's very relaxing, very *girl who's gonna be ok*. It's very comforting.

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
Okay, the music production is VERY good. I'd even go so far as to say excellent, BUT… HOLY SH*T, TROYE, WHAT IS THAT TOPLINE? You've got a killer instrumental—nostalgic, with breaks, shifts, and real depth—and you give us nothing? I don't mind the spoken-word verses too much—I get the vibe, it was cunty on OOYG—but honestly, you could've brought a bit more variation. But that chorus? So lazy, so uneventful, so empty… it's a waste. I love the bridge, though. And the music video is very nice, love the feeling coming out of it.
