  1. I think it isn't objectively but unfortunately it's mostly said in a way that comes across offensive. Few days ago a shop assistant asked me if I'm polish cause of my accent and I told him that I'm Swedish. And he said "well you sound polish" and he said it In a way that contained obvious disdain So I think it's the way people say it
