The chorus is infectious and I love it

 

the verses don't quite hit for me and her voice sounds.... too obfuscated? 

Wait - it kind of sounds empty as if it were one of those "solo edits" to a LM song lol

 

like it's screaming for a vibe change up from LA or Jade, harmonies, etc.

The song is fine I guess but whats getting me is that Perrie and her team are the absolute worst at describing songs.. correct me if I'm wrong but is this not the song they described as an "upbeat ballad" and "a sexy bad ***** anthem" ?? Like what about this is any of that 

Don't feel it sorry. She is doing the same soccer mum music Kelly Clarkson did for her last album

I am bopping but they need to increase their budget for playlisting like #7 on NMFUK and non of existant on general NMF and HHUK is CRAZY

it just shows that as a band they were more than a sum of its parts and they had the stardom, but on their own theyre only able to make mediocre music. 3 out of 4 released solo and it's all flop.

Nah next please ... thsi wont do nothing .... couldnt she have booked studio time with the flowers producers for some songs since they are on Columbia's label... this has no identity the chorus is not stellar and it aint a smash hit the moment you hear it. To be honest the output has been quite mediocre

I expected them all to smash, because all four are incredibly talented. Crazy how tough the industry is. 

 

At this point I don't care if they 'flop' as long as the music is good and they keep releasing.

 

I've enjoyed every Jesy release so far, Leigh-Anne's two main singles and two songs from her EP and both of Perrie songs. I did expect Perrie to have stronger material because her voice is insane, I hope she releases songs that showcase her vocals.

 

Apparently this song wasn't even one of the six played at the listening parties she held? strange. So i'm guessing it wasn't originally supposed to be a single?

It's very much giving "we saw Espresso was smashing and we had to try and jump on that train QUICKLY"

I did not expect her second major single to be worse than the majority of Leigh Anne's material out so far… this really isn't landing with me yet. 
 

 

I guess a side effect of the girls working so well together is that they might have growing pains on their own, I have faith though they'll each work through it. Not a fan of the "give up and get back together" mindset

She honestly should have released it the week of STB. All buzz (even if it was just small buzz) she had last week ist pretty much gone now.
