Started listening to Houdini after a while and it's still THAT song! Her voice, the instrumental, the bridge... absolute perfection.

 

I really hope the deluxe songs are taken from the Houdini sessions (or used as the blueprint for the new songs).

Remember Houdini frankly got lost amidst the thunder of reindeer hooves as Mariah sweeps all before her from about mid November, together with all the other Xmas usuals.

It would make sense to release and perform new single on EMAs but since we know Dua's team, it wont be happening LOL

She will be in Asia at tour during the EMAs too bad she could also do NRJ in France & Los 40 in Spain all 3 arround the same dates in November

that's what I was thinking they now November & December charts are already a mess since Xmas songs arrived sooner & stronger every year

 

Wish she could had released a single from the already released RO

It was great but she's sounding so hoarse lately. She needs take more care of those vocal cords

I hate to say this but I did not like the Tiny Desk performance. Maybe it's because I wasn't using earphones but the arrangements could have been better.

 

Also, got to half of These Walls and Happy For You and had to skip. Those songs were duds on release day and are still duds with an acoustic backing.

 

Houdini is pop perfection and the best first single of any MPG in the last year and a half.

the mixing on the tiny desk show is so much worse than the tiny desk at home lol.

sometimes it sounds as if they just used a wide range mic that records the entire set.
