the way I can FEEL that this is going to be a classic  I have a feeling that more and more positive reviews are coming, and I think Big Time Nothing tomorrow might somehow be the best single yet

If these 3 singles are any indication of what the rest of the album will sound like, this is shaping up to be my favorite St. Vincent album

hm yeah she might actually be able to snatch a nomination this year after how much they liked Mass & Daddy.

oh she's 3/3 with big time nothing. it's like... the aggressive bass synths of masseduction meets the funk guitar and bg vocals of daddy's home.

this is already so much better than her last album. BTN sounds like an instant classique 

I can see this getting a best new music tbh, not as high as Strange Mercy or self-titled but in the 8.2-8.5 range for sure

I think we are looking at a potential top 3 St. Vincent album

Honestly with the first two singles-  I thought she would at least have a chance at contending with her Self Titled as maybe the best St V album for me - 

 

but after Big Time Nothing and these great reviews I'm feeling this will more than likely be my favorite STV album ever, the highs are already so incredible. Track had me shook all day, the production, swagger & technical prowess is off the charts.  

 

The synth bass line and crunchy drums…. the arrangements are like self titled on crack channeling the best of daddy's home & Masseduction but meaner 

title track snippet sounds promising

 

Debuted with 85 on Metacritic

Exclaim gave it a 70/100 and mentioned that "Broken Man" is the weakest song on the album.

 

If the awesome "Broken Man" is the weakest, I'm so ready!!!
