Obvs growing up during pops best climate 2009-2016 ,we had the emergence of Pia Mia,with the backing of the Kardashian ,a Drake co-sign and a hit song,which is kinda a modern day classic. What went wrong. I know she had MULTIPLE label changes. False starts etc ,she's basically the female equivalent to Austin Mahone.  But she sings,dances and actually makes earworms.

Yes. She is the female equivalent of Austin Mahone. I dont know what happen with Austin, I guess he is not a songwritter just a performer. Probably didnt have a good pr, A&R and marketing team (really important) cuz he is indie now, same thing with Pia Mia. Really sad cuz but of them can dance and everything, they just needed a good A&R, really suspicious because Pia were in Republic Records and Austin in the same label as Justin Bieber (I think, not sure). Austin is doing the most boring music, and not using his best skill (dancing).

Yes, at least he realease an album, she have not yet, even Madison Beer and Willow Smith (both same circle) have two albums now. Yes, have seem that, I know he is country now, not my thing, but good luck for to him, I am going to be here expecting his dance comeback (I dont thing he have so much vision artistry, like you say he was Justin Bieber 2.0, now triying to be Justin Timberlake 2.0). I think dance music 2010 is doing a comeback, he can collaborate with couples DJs. I dont know what is happening with male singer/dancer in the west like him (J. Bieber, J. Timberlake, Usher, [Usher 2.0 😭😂🤣] Jason Derulo).

 

She have a book in plans. I would love her to do a soft launching/ soft comeback in something like Masked Singer or Dancing with the Stars.
