She have been doing it. She still doing branding, she just dont understand the meaning of the concept. Since her first album and Dear Society she have always have this Sci Fi and Retro Futurism style with a minimal/neutral color palette (a lot of grey, deep blue, blue, beige and tans, black and white), very sultry and elegant, always with a dance and minimal/alt pop sound. She is just doing in lazily. She needs to study Kylie Minogue's Fever era and Aitana's Alpha era. She needs to improve her staging for tours and TV and do some minimal/modern dancing to complement all, or at least have dancers around, and pose and strut. The music videos of this era have been the most boring ones, the videos from her first album are so good with a plot and good cinematography, they feel fuller. Her best popstar esque performance keep been her Baby performances at the MTV EMA.

Yesss!!! I think partially is because the songs are too short, so ita affects the structure or anatomy of the beat and the lyrics. Thats why they feel incomplete with no actual climax.

I think the same, the verses dont tell much, the chorus eat it all. Maybe should have been longer to explore and improve the verses.

The dark scene are way cooler, I dont dislike the bright ones tho, maybe should have done a night and a bright music video versions. She is not doing much, not dancing at all, not complain tho if isnt her thing. The F1 song is one of her best EDM song she have done after Make you mine and 15 minutes.

Mmmmmm... I still going to play it and giving it more oportunities. The song she did for the Formula 1 movie is better. This feel like "15 minites" demo. I feel the final part is the one with the better production and layering, same thing with the second part of the final chorus vocal layering (the one in the first teaser). Is a coitus interruptus song (thats how I call those) same thing happenned with Rita Ora "Heat". I dont like that she doesnt care about developing a brand, really ironic cuz that is what she have been trying with these last three singles. I know the music video is going to be Pilates/Gymnast/Dance Studio theme, like that 2000s dance song music video... Also dont like that single cover/artwork, I need face/mug shot, name logo and song title logo. Popstar logo is their face/mug. I am going to play it until I like it tho.

Well I am a graphic design student. I have been triying to finish an associate degree for around 7 years. Everytime, every year, everything became more and more complicated to me. I am final giving up to that i changing to another path. I am planning to go and do some technical/labor course. I really dont know but graphic design isnt my passion anymore, I have been both burned out from school and job industry. AI is the worst thing for us right now, and every design company have been using it right know, they all have giving it the green light. I was never talented at all to be a designer, my college isnt one of the best of my country neither. Graphic desing is so complicated and weird, and it is seem as easy at same time. My degree program got math subjests, I went to art (never got high skilled) because I wasnt good at math, I dont want to do coding or programming at all. I feel the career is kind of useless and flat now, I regret a little bit cause I though my overal experience was going to be different. Like i felt at that time that I was going to became good at it. Like I found my village or mission of life. I recommed you watching other areas.

Exactly the same thing. I dont understand this obsession to elevate kpop and completely hate western pop. When everything is worst and more mediocre in kpop, they lack more in everything. Really repetitive and recycle. Style over substance but worst and less genuine.

Bad branding (the poster girl era was semi good because Ryder Ripps branding/creative direction, she fired him), Too much time between albums, Obsession with United States marketing instead of focusing in whole Europe, another one is the soft mean girl personality she got, like I feel she have never struggle in her life I dont need her to be relatable to me but the material and her aptitude just dont seem appealing at all to me to ignore her tone deaf moments. Also I feel she just make generic american music, it doesnt feel enough european/scandinavian, also I think she produce her music in USA, thing that is weird because she is swedish, there is not need. Her music sound too bumble gum and she is an adult. So IDK. I am rooting for her but the ambition, artistry and creativity isnt there. I would love her make a ep or album with the Struts (Love Me Land) or the ones who produced All the time and other hits from her. Meh...

Omg I like Katy Perry a lot. But idk this singles sound so cliché uninspired, like all the others sneak peeks we got from this album. I dont like the singles isnt coming this week or the next. I liked her a lot. I knew her with HFK, I loved the aesthetic and the music from that album, she even made an arena tour (suspicious) people always taller about how she never sold out many of the dates, with just 2 eras selling "arenas" with barely festivals performances in all her career. Anyways, I liked Manic a lot, she barely promoted after With Out Me, she abandoned Graveyard (didnt liked any of the artsy/body paint performances, just the park ones) just promoted Nightmare in some shows and didnt released 3 A.M. then covid happen and she Stones everything, same thing happen with Selena-Rare. Love and Power was weird. The visuals didnt matched the musical texture, she barely promoted this album too, so people forgetted her even more fast, two eras were she barely promoted on TV, events, etcétera. An you know the visuals flopped really hard, like the Kacey Musgraves flopped, and the Jlo's one flopped; they wasted all the album rollout campaign budget into these films. Sadly (or not) Beyoncé is the only one tha knows how to do visual albums. Also Luke someone said, she is really complicated in the way Demi Lovato was at that time too. She seems rude and entitled, really complicated to stan. So, all the Tumblr rumors probably were true.

I was thinking everything have been like this because her father is now her manager. I think this album show have be released last year or the first quater of this year. She should have wait and have another album campaign under Tap Music, the showcased her their proffesionalism with Future Nostalgia (the whole lockdown, everything virtual). Even before the lockdown with the promo for Dont Start Now, in comparison the promo for Houdini was lacking...

I know, but she make her rebrand with Elite Netflix and her reggaeton hits in her album K.O. In spanish speaking world there are many celebrities with that name it was a bad move, it was unnecesary at this point of her career. Yes, me either; "Danna Paola" is a stronger name, "Danna" is really bland, this rebrand is too late. Maybe if she did it after Élite, during her first récords, it would have been more impactful, but not now. Apart of that I dont understand artist with the most generic names want to have artistic names with no last name like: Madonna or Rihanna. These is happening a lot right now in Latín América.

He needs to go back to the sound and image of Ghosttown, but different, a full soft rock/house album. His music needs to be more adult comtemporany. I feel his image maybe its too queer, he needs to make it more trendy, sleek, chic, like everything feeling less like a costume and more like a fashion it boy if that have sense. But personally I dont find him that interesting. I only like his electronic stuff.

Same. Not only them but many similar types of production companies are a lot like that. I feel the ending of many of their movies are really MEH, not just them its just the state of cinema and entertaiment industry right now; many (what I call) coitus interruptus films and songs, and see some script/writer shyness, not quality control at all, no nuances, shock just for shocking, a lot of style over substance. I have outgrow them as well, I dont know what happen with Hollywood and their lazyness (no script doctors and greenlightning 1rst draft movies), international cinema dont give me what Hollywood used to give, too much pseudo artsy films for festivals or cheap cgi Marvel like movies, sometimes (most of the time) you want good b movies/mis budget/ comfort films. I fell the same with pop music and music in general lately, so many songs (jingles) sounding like demos with no layering...

I think gays doing this kind of sultry and sleek house influenced music its always really sucessful. Like the álbum Adam Lambert did in 2015 with Ghosttown. I think Troye play his cards really well. And he previously did these collaborations with Calvin Harris and Disclousure. People loves gay sultry and sleek house music. All these songs were hits.
