Reputation for all. The disrespect to compare it to that hitless bomb with a 61 score on Metacritic :hoetenks:

Bigger, better, more acclaimed, more successful, more remembered, more longevity, bigger tour, and so forth.

Taylor had the bigger singles, better videos, and bigger album. There’s no competition, Taylor cleared Britney.

the actual "goth punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure" one

But LWYMMD is majestic as well

Blackout is much better, lol. reputation has the better videos, though.

Gimme More

Piece of Me

Radar

Break the Ice

Freakshow

This album is legendary :flame:

The Look video alone devours Blackout's entire videography, let alone some of the RFI video's insane visual elements :gaycat6:

Reputation was more successful and with bigger singles, delivering a massive comeback and quick drop, two bombs (especially End Fame given those features) and then a long-running sleeper hit, while Blackout had an unstable lead single with a cute peak that missed the year end, a mid-sized hit, and a bomb.

Preference obviously determines which I think is better, but I think a lot of Blackout has aged pretty clunkily and a significant chunk of the track list is filler. Reputation has Grammywinner Car and Praying With Our Hands Clasped on the track list, so I think it's the better album. The better singles are a tossup but to me LWYMMD = GM, POM > RFI, EG > BTI, and Delicate > ? (Radar lol?)

The one actually remembered that was a multi-week #1 hit Album, with multiple smashes reputation. :coffee:

Gimme more alone is better than anything Tay ever released.

What is this thread

Gimme More and Break the Ice > Taylor’s whole discography

Y'all are on a roll with all of the Britney polls lol. I like Reputation it is a good album but Blackout literally is one of its main inspirations. The Bible Of Pop >

anyway, Blackout.

Blackout is a legendary album and rightly has a place in the annals of pop music.

The less said about the other the better.
