Even if the song doesn’t become a hit in the US at least it will do well globally in the long run. It already debuted very high in most global markets. One cool thing about the FN singles run was that she releases lots of songs just to certain markets and she had hits that smashed intensely in some markets and underperformed in others etc. I hope they take on that approach with DL3. Maybe the 2nd single will be the big US hot and maybe not? And who cares lol. Dua is a global artist. She’ll smash in some markets always

Me and my 50yo mom were singing some portuguese folk singer old hits that marked my childood. She started karaoking, asked me to Karaoke something, I picked Don't Start Now.

She told me to put the song on to compare. Then asked me if Dua Lipa was the one I was crazy about some weeks ago over a new song. Said yes, played it, and she mockingly started to mimic the coreography having the time of her life and now she can't get Houdini out of her head

I love this song and I love the extended even more... I get why people don't like it but I actually enjoy the "unfinished" aspect of it... it feels like a live in LA cut and I wish more artists would release stuff like that more often.

First time i heard the extended i was like wtf is that 

It felt more like a demo version rather than an extended 

 

But after a couple of listens , i love it even though i still believe it sounds a bit like a demo

 

 

I agree with what i read above that the extra verse sounds a bit out of place , maybe if it was twice in the song it could fit more ( reminds me so much of an Artpop song )

Houdini still sounds nothing like a FN track to me  I feel like she’d have to do a trap song to beat the allegations atp

i was finally able to listen to the houdini extended mix today and it's a serve  

the new added lines are great
