Y’all are trying way too much. 

The song is expected to rebound back up to #6 next week in early predictions. 

 

We have not heard anything besides 1 song so we have no idea what's coming. It's too soon to make this.

Step 1. ATRL wants Olivia to flop. 
Step 2. Olivia get a radio hit and #1 song. 
Step 3. ATRL decides to ignore her success and pretend like she still flopped. It’s like y’all are trying to gaslight people into thinking this era was isn’t doing well  🫠

Same people different day. Vampire rising in its 6th week. Stable and growing massively on radio.

Isn't she rush releasing a second single because of the underperformance of her lead? Sounds like playing it safe indeed backfired. 

I am disappointed in the album cover, but no, she’s still smashing.

She can play it safe but the aafe needs to be good.

How did it backfire when the song is a success on the charts? Make it make sense. Not every single or lead is going to be a mega smash.

It's predicted to be top 10 how is that a flop ?

For me it did backfire in the way that i could see she performing better than Vampire and with more hype for her new album if she was more risky. 
 

Vampire is still a hit song tho so she’s not losing, but i could see she perfo better if it wasnt too safe. lets see her 2nd single!

Looks like a certain OOH back again trying Olivia. When your fav is gaining 1.5 million radio updates six week into her single run. Come back to talk about an underperformance. 
 

Olivia is doing amazing right now. Better than any other sophomore girl album so far since TD. She doesn’t have to rely on migraine medication ads or 6+ singles to gain attention from the GP

she probably just needs better material on the album to follow up, but the release has been uneventful so far
