People hate Taylor. The pictures of her holding up the award her team told the VMAs to give her made me want to throw actual tomatoes at her head.

Disagree. My first impression of her was bad because I remember watching an interview of her insinuating she was better than the other new country artists at the time, Carrie and Kellie, because she didn't go on a reality show. I mean, she was 16 at the time so I gave her some grace. But in so many ways, she's the same stubborn, snobby person now. I do agree that TTPD has some of the best songs she's ever written. But it's still wild to be that she had a well to draw from (a 7 year long relationship) and instead chose to write a double album about a 2 week (see: Fortnight) fling instead. Her writing just feels so shallow since Folklore. Showgirl is bad. Encore is bad. But I agree that it's the unnecessary praise and not proportional hype she's been getting for years that's make people pile on, if you will.

Agree. Even when I was a diehard fan, she never had a skipless album for me. There was always at least a song or two that made me cringe. And it's like she took all of the cringiest parts of her songwriting in the past and concentrated it to make this album. Also she needs new subject matter besides "I love Travis Kelce and fk my haters"

Wasn't made up to get clicks. It was a theory someone had and still could be true. Taylor's Toy Story song wasn't announced until a few days before the premiere. Spider Man's premiere isn't until the 27th. So I don't think it would be announced til the 17th or 24th if it exists.

Although I know they were limited… they don't even have every song title on the back cover. But I'd love a better vinyl package, with a lyric booklet. Raye's vinyl package was phenomenal and apparently Phoebe's new vinyls will have a lyric booklet too.
