Pink pantheress and icespice 

 

This highschool-ass performance on a stage with pretty much no set design. The backing track is much louder than them, which almost qualifies as lipsynching, and they still only sing (or w/e you wanna call it) 40% of the time. When they're not singing, they're doing club dance moves or just stand there lol.

 

 

In the last 7 years, Rihanna.  

More recently: pretty much every other pop girl.  No one is making music anymore. 

She could have made her comeback the pop event of the century but she refused

Not too much on Ice Spice. She hasn't even been on the scene a year. Let her grow. FLO also had a tough time at the same festival.

A whole collective of acts are streaming-only. 

 

Not worth seeing in person for any reason. There's nothing wrong with that but industry revenue for an artist is reliant on touring and that's only gonna get worse, gotta give people a reason to pay to see you.

Well at least the crowd is super engaged. 

Ice Spice may have talent, but she has ZERO stage presence and ZERO emotion in her vocals

Well OP did ask about an artist that serves nothing, which in this case is Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift

A lot of the new Vibe-Based R&B girls (Summer Walker, Mariah The Scientist, etc.) bring very little to the table beyond relatable lyrics. 
 

I know Summer is working on improving though.

She's at least rapping all her words instead of relying on the backing track.
