that last pic is part of the talk that talk photoshoot, I believe, anyway Loud for all, although Rated R is my fav along with it and now that I think about it, Rated R has more strong singles, but What's My Name is just that song!

Rated R for EVERYTHING 

RR wins the better singles bc they are simply BETTER not BIGGER

Rated R was something special, I tell you. Whoever got to be a part of that era, whew. She was so present and into it despite the commercial underperformance. Nowhere near a signe of that artist these days

I think as a whole I prefer Rated R, which was her best until Unapologetic came along

I don't listen to Loud anymore except for Skin. That song is magical still.

Loud in everything. The best pop era & best single promos.

Rated R is the better album. The imagery from the era was also more fresh and daring and bold, the visuals and direction also better than Loud's but the singles from Loud were just beyond. It's hard to beat S&M, OG, WMN and Man Down.

That's rather insulting for the excellent body of work that is Rated R.

Rated R is the better album, but Loud's single run is immaculate.

I will listen to Rated R on a whim, through and through (including Hole In My Head, actually one of my favourite Rihanna songs), pretty frequently!

I also prefer the singles on Rated R, the only one I really prefer from Loud is Only Girl.

However… in terms of aesthetic… the red hair during Loud really set Rihanna apart from everyone else and from every one of her eras and was kind of… glorious.
