Can Taylor break MJ's record?

Featured Replies

In 1988, Michael Jackson played 7 sold out show at Wembley Stadium in London. I think if anyone could break that record, it would be Taylor. Thoughts?

Maybe if it's her only dates in UK. I don't think it's her goal anyway

Yeah I think that's actually quite doable for her, especially if she doesn't play any other cities in the UK

It's definitely doable if they're her only UK dates, but I think she's going to have a decently sized UK tour this time around.

I don't think so, she's popular here but 7 nights at Wembley popular? errr

If she can sell out 4 shows in Mexico instantly than 100% she can sell out 8 shows in London instantly:rip:She is #1 artists in UK Spotify since the release day of Midnights and chart 8 albums there every week let’s be real

Tbh no. I think she could do like 7 nights in nyc or something though

She could if they're her only European shows, or possibly even just only UK shows.

But they won't be, so no.

That'd be hard, the stadium fills 90k people so that's 720k only from UK :rip: but maybe she can do it?

I don't think both situations are comparable tbh.

It wouldn't be exactly a sweet ride, but she can definitely do it. Other than her, I think the only reason Coldplay didn't had 10 Wembleys last year was because of their schedules.

She could especially if it's her only UK dates. I think Ed and Coldplay could too

Taylor has always been popular in LatAm, in Europe she has hits but not really as big as she is over there.

She is definitely bigger in the UK than she is in LATAM pls :gaycat7:

OT : She wouldn't have any problem but she will probably play 5 shows

Doesn’t mean she’s big enough to do 7 nights at Wembley :rip: Taylor has always been popular in LatAm, in Europe she has hits but not really as big as she is over there. She can defo do Wembley but 7 nights is a reach.

UK and Ireland are two of Taylor‘s strongest market what do you mean:rip: GP in LatAm still don’t care much about her songs but she is literally IT girls in the UK let’s not. When we talking about how she is relatively weak in Europe, we’re talking about the mainland Europe not including the UK

not even need to mention she could sell out 2 Wembley dates during the Reputation tour meanwhile Midnights is like 5x bigger than Reputation in the UK and rn she is 10x times bigger than 2017:rip:

Records are meant to be broken. After people without anything to back it up break them they lose all meaning

Taylor is much bigger in the UK (and Ireland) than in Latam. It's not even close. She is relatively weak in mainland Europe but she has been huge for a very long time in the UK.
