I never say never, but I don't think she will earn the trust of listeners back until an album is out.

But I think Normani is done with music.

No the main R&B/Pop girls are still SZA, Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko, H.E.R and Kehlani

Normani has no artistry to have a lane. The cookie cutter hits she had dont make a lasting brand. But she should have been released a album even if it likely flopped.

HER’s career is non existent just like Normani. Nobody knows who that person is

H.E.R is about to be in her 4th album/EP era and averaging 1.4M units in the US in each project of the past 3 releases so far

Normani hasnt even released a EP

Dont quote me trolling

Her fans always talk about her serving. I heard iHop is hiring :thing:

all that hype and co-signs for what?!

NO. She might as well get her back blown out for a quick Amazon Prime cheque too. :coffee2:

:rip: omg. yh chloe is a mess lmao

she left it too late, if she dropped an album during 2019 she woulda been huge but I feel it's never gonna happen now.

HER has multiple Grammys and three full albums, including one that charted at #6. Normani has TWO solo songs to her name.

No, which is sad, because she has the talent, voice, dancing abilities, looks, style, etc. to be the next Beyoncé.

Please, she's nowhere near as talented as Beyonce, ESPECIALLY vocally :rip:

I don't quite understand that either. I mean yeah she's a decent dancer but i never understood what the hype was all about exactly. Calling her the new Beyonce or even the potential new Beyonce always felt like a massive reach.

No, she was the worst vocalist of 5H and no one cares about her being a dancer, she doesn’t have the X-factor :sorry:

I can see her getting a surprise hit somewhere along the line, but the moment for her to join the Doja/Dua/Billie ranks has long passed

No, it's too late. She wasted so much hype and opportunity.

Anything can happen in the streaming/tiktok era, but it doesn't seem likely at all, so voted for "No".

Normani, her team and her label 100% lost her timing. She could've been getting ready for her 3rd studio album atm.

Maybe she would've flopped, but she would've built somewhat a stanbase and that alone would guarantee her a better position that what she has right now.

Edit: and i don't even think she would've flopped releasing an album in 2019 with Motivation or even some years later with the Cardi B feat. I think it would've done "ok", especially close to Motivation, she's had the internet hype back then.
But her timing has passed SO MUCH that EVENNN if she's flopped releasing albums she would've been in a better position and what she has right now lmao :deadbanana2::deadbanana2:

I don’t think she’ll ever be the breakout star of fifth harmony like she was hyped up to be. That window has closed. It’s crazy to me that Camila is about to release her 4th album and Normani’s only released a bunch of quick lil singles

And Camila has had quite a few breaks too tbh. It’ll be 7 years of being solo this December & she’s only done 3 albums.

Ariana released 5 albums in the first 7 years of her career.

Normani’s been solo for almost 6 years & hasn’t released 1 album. There’s no excuse.

She really reminds me of me when i was younger. I was not satisfied with my homework in uni, so i never appeared in the classes or just didnt send anything. Promises and more broken promises.

So, i missed the chance of some great things for my insecurity. I was a stupid ass :gaycat2:

Sadly music careers are not like uni. U **** you **** your chances and is forever. U cant enter a new uni. Once is done is done.
Once youre forgotten by the GP is very hard to regain them back.

Normani had everything to be a prominent name in this newcomer era even if she's was not the most successful one
Doja Cat was not huge at first but she worked and worked hard to be played for years. Same with Lizzo-Sza.
Tinashe even with

everything against her was able to build a "cult reputation" in the music world. She's winning and we are perched for more.

Normani is her worst enemy or her "team". She just needed to release music. Thats it.

She could’ve. Dancing w/ a stranger and Love Lies set her up nicely. She didn’t do anything with it though.

if her acting gig soon-to-be launch actually success whether rating or acclaim, she would take off by that lane and cling to it ever like j.hud.

music career... you know what.

are you really saying someone who won SOTY at the Grammys and an Oscar has "no career"? :rip:

if we want to talk about her numbers, if she's mainstream or she only has a niche audience,  we can but she's releasing certified music and makes concerts so she has a career.

She's mainstream, but has moderate success

She has 7 songs that are Multiplatinum eligible, a 2X Platinum eligible album and her songs play on the radio

+ what you said about her having a Oscar, Grammys and being able to tour

But he's just partly trolling I think anyways:rip:

Nothing is impossible. It not too late but her chances dwindling. I will say she wasted so much of her hype

Grammy and Oscars and still has ZERO songs known by the public

She has won those because she’s an industry plant
