Is the Rihanna hate getting weird?

Featured Replies

GP acclaim. Recharted smash hits and albums... and ATRL sayings "worst SB of all time" in every threads? :deadbanana4:

Not really. It’s definitely the most underwhelming MPG SBHTS yet.

yes. She has the bops, the interest, yet the atrlers are obsessed with claming from their caves „she can’t sing!!”

Her tone is pleasant, very emotive and is her own brand. Meanwhile some girlies sound like a highschooler AI and cannot potray a single emotion while singing:rip:

Her SB was not the most eventful, but at least her charisma kept my attention during the entire thing.

They’ve been salivating for 17 years for her downfall and they thought the Super Bowl was gonna be it… but once again she shut them up and they can’t stand it. I can imagine the frustration :deadbanana:

What GP acclaim? Y'all seem to be using the term 'acclaim' a lot but don't understand its actual meaning.

I love me some Rihanna but the way her fans on here have been trying to gaslight everyone into thinking that the performance was good just because it 'pulled numbers' is quite jarring to see. For some reason, I expected more transparency from them since they usually seem like a down to earth bunch compared to other fanbases.

It was a poor performance point blank.

Atrl has never been right when it comes to what clicks with the rest of the human population. So it’s not weird to me. In fact as a Rih stan, I get scared whenever Atrl reacts positively to something she does.

Also it kinda keeps things entertaining cause she gets bashed here like there’s no tomorrow, only for her to be on top the next day. Like they collectively get brave for a short minute and come for her and shortly after its CRICKETS:bibliahh:

Not y'all still in denial

Fair enough if you didn’t love the performance, that’s a matter of opinion, but to say it was the worst halftime show of all time is a barefaced lie when there have been several that were far worse in just recent years. If you’re saying it was the worst of all time you’re probably just a bitter hater

If the "geepee" has acclaimed the performance, why are you bothered about what a niche site like ATRL thinks? There are many times the "geepee" and ATRL have differed in opinion regarding something :clown:

It was a super meh halftime show. No guest artists, 99% pre-recorded vocals; it was basically just a best-of-Rihanna mash-up audio playing with some dancers.

There is no hate for her personally, people just think the performance was extremely underwhelming.

The anticipation for her downfall was SO wild but funny :rip: Can't forget the time when that Monster opened a thread that made the viewership seem low, just for more reliable sources to reveal that Rihanna has the third highest-viewed Superbowl performance of all time :rip: :rip:  :bibliahh:

Acclaim from the reputable critics, the whole lot of TikTok generation, the industry people… The GP would drop her real quick if they didn’t like the show, it’s happened to pop stars before, instead she got this unusual boost from it.

Yall still acting like we’re pretending to like the show is a kii. Like I can understand how a Bey stan might find it underwhelming but clearly we’re here for it and we’ve been here for it. Along with the GP. It’s not like stanning a pop star that does hardcore choreo is a paid subscription or a members only club. If that was my cup of tea I would simply stan Bey. What’s funny is yall asking us to ignore all the positive reaction she got left and right and “admit” that the show was boring because it wasn’t what you “expected from her” Make it make sense…

The way ORHs on here have been trying to gaslight everyone into thinking that the performance wasn't good just because it was not the predictable/typical pop girl performance with sparkly outfits, led stage and the same tired choreos is quite jarring to see.

Imagine doing the same things Madonna and Beyonce did at the beginning of the previous decade, with Gaga/JLo/Shakira following the same root years later. Nah... thanks... Welcome in 2023!

Navy still in denial. Your fave doesn’t have one single iconic performance, and Super Bowl didn’t change that.

Stick to the chart performance. :deadvision:

Rihanna is one of the least hated artists on this dying forum. Stop being dramatic...

Rihanna isn’t hated by anyone but it is true that one specific fanbase felt satisfaction in her lazy performance as it gave them some content to hate on. It’s sad.

All the users on this thread pretending Rihanna wasn't getting dragged to no end after the Super Bowl on this site... :skull: Shameless.

Absolutely not. The BeyHive think Bey gets an unusual amount of hate on here, Xtina fans think that about Xtina, LMs say that about Gaga, Britney fans about Britney, Madonna fans, Nicki fans…. Every girl gets hate on here. It’s pathetic, but your fave is not nor will she ever be special when it comes to negative ATRL threads.

It's only on ATRL. Everyone in the real world still adores her.

Good thing the GP doesn't care about whether or not she has an iconic performance. She is still adored and the GP will continue to support her.

GP doesn't know how to recognize a good performance, they literally eat everything up. So no, it's one of the worst.
