I love me some Rihanna but the way her fans on here have been trying to gaslight everyone into thinking that the performance was good just because it 'pulled numbers' is quite jarring to see. For some reason, I expected more transparency from them since they usually seem like a down to earth bunch compared to other fanbases.

So when Rolling Stone or NYT rate your faves albums with glowing reviews that is considered acclaimed but when those same publications give a positive review of a performance it’s not? 
 

You don’t have to like the performance (that’s your personal opinion) but fact is multiple publications gave the performance good reviews and even ranked it in the Top 10 list. 
 

That’s not gaslighting by a fanbase. 

These daily threads about Rihanna’s SB performance are growing stale. It’s been over a week now, move on
